I started out in Venice Beach at Muscle Beach. I headed North on the Marvin Braude Trail where it took me through Santa Monica all along the beach. There are plenty of places to stop and use the restroom or grab something to eat. The path is very busy so I would recommend riding a beach cruiser, e-bike or e-scooter. But if you plan to ride a road bike to do the full distance it may be less busy...
