Ive been to Nashville several times I love it Soo much way better than Los Angeles

As much love as I have for Nashville, they almost killed country music. Churning out pop music like a factory, made country music terrible but thankfully social media has loosened the control the music industry had. Appalachian artists like Tyler Childers and Sturgil Simpson are keeping country at it’s roots.

Gordie Sampson has written some beautiful material. That's for sure. Wish he was here among you folks, instead of being talking about. One of my favourite musicians, that's for sure. And Canadian!

I really enjoyed this. It was great to get a visual reference to a lot of the things I’ve learned from listening to Tyler mayhan Coe’s podcast ‘cocaine and rhinestones: the history of country music’ …being English (and 35) country music has always gone over my head…mostly due to getting hardly any exposure to it here in the UK and the stuff I had heard I didn’t really understand, but I’ve learned so much from cocaine and rhinestones and discovered some amazing music
