This video barely scratches the surface of what we experienced-bone-chilling cold, uncertain paths, and absolute trust in our Polaris RZR. With expert tour guides leading the way, we embarked on a two-hour adventure deep into West Virginia's rugged mountain country.
Angie kicked off the first half behind the wheel, and I planned to take over for the return trip to split the experience. But we had no idea what awaited us. As the "scenic" route unfolded, temperatures plummeted, dropping well below freezing. On a particularly steep hill, we fishtailed uncontrollably-no brakes, no steering, just adrenaline-fueled chaos. Laughing it off, we were too caught up in the thrill to realize we'd need to climb back up that same icy nemesis later.
When the return trip came, it made sense for Angie to stay in the driver’s seat-she was locked in and crushing it. My ego took a hit, but it was the right call. She handled spin-outs and backward drifts with incredible composure, steering us back on track every time. We were both on edge (and maybe peed a little 😅). The frozen tracks, constant spinning, and utter lack of control tested us-but we made it.
Picture this: the middle of nowhere, a vehicle you don’t know, freezing temps, no cell service, and not a taco truck in sight. Angie stayed calm and delivered like a pro. I couldn’t be prouder. Sitting in the passenger seat was its own challenge for me, but maybe I needed that.
Shoutout to our amazing guides-they were skilled, down-to-earth, and clearly nervous about how the Dadlani Team would handle the trail. We nailed it, though, and celebrated with well-deserved beers.
The next two days? All tours canceled due to conditions. Yeah, we were that epic.
