I purchased two complete set ups for venting my 40' containers. Installed as directed with your roof vents and 8- 3" vents around walls. And now there is no air movement at all!!! Not happy. Now you wont answer my calls or call me back!!!!!' Whats the deal!!!!!!
Instead of just Isopropyl alcohol, it works MUCH better if you also have ethanol on hand. Not to much to start with, but at least a shot or two when done. (that's a joke for those of you without humor) After checking the prices, better make that about 4 or 5 shots. YIKES! I think I'll get some galvanized sheets at HD and roll my own.
You're not wrong. What a rip-off!
170 thats crazy
This product does not come close to fitting or forming to my container. A huge waste of money.
How can i buy this version i cant find it anywhere
What about a horizontal rain?
I need a pair of these for my container!
Thanks Eric, have you visited our website @ www.containercreations.com?
I'm looking forward to receiving my two adaptors thats on there way over to outback Queensland Australia. I too had looked at fabricating a metal adaptor and when I saw these I couldn't say no and an easy method to mount my 2 solar powered whirlybirds
We're glad we could help, please let us know how the project went for you!
@@ContainerCreations In 4 weeks I'm having shoulder surgery so for now I've mounted 2 of the wind powered whirlybirds with a 300mm collar. The solar powered whirlybirds have a 360mm collar and I'll have to weld up a 360mm to 300mm reducing mount when the shoulder is all better. As for the pressed mounts, I love them.
❤
I see your current model has been updated to a smaller model. Have you considered making one that can hold a RV roof top air conditioner
I ask because those whirlybird bird kind of suck. There are so many other options to mount thing that need this corrugated adapter. Dolor power fans rv air conditioners just to name a few
How many would a person need for a 40’ container
We recommend at least on 12-inch vent for every 20-ft of container.
@@ContainerCreations Is there a way to block off the vent on the inside during the winter?
Where do I get your new version
www.containercreations.com/collections/all
Where can I order the FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) container vent cap from and what is the order #
We now have epoxy-coated stainless steel instead of FRP for added durability. You can purchase at: www.containercreations.com/collections/active-products
where can I buy one?
The adapters are available at www.containercreations.com
I bought this product and followed the instructions. No problems at all. I discovered it needed an intake vent so I cut and installed a covered 10"x10" vent in the door of the container. This was a game changer. Prior to this I would park my tractor and PTO driven 68" wide snow blower in the container after moving snow on my property. With the doors closed, the engine heat melted the snow and I would get a tremendous amount of condensation which would then freeze to the ceiling. That was before. Now the front vent in the door and the whirly move the moist air out of the container. No more condensation!
Thank you for sharing your experience with the ventilation adapter!
270 bucks for a mass produced hunk of plastic? Highway robbery, you should be ashamed!!
They were $270 a while back as this price included shipping. We then enabled the website to calculate shipping for each order and dropped the price to $200. Those parts were hand made in our shop in California. I agree they were too expensive. We are now releasing a new product that will fit the exact same way, still hold the lifetime guarantee and be made of heavy gauge hot dipped galvanized steel. The new product will still come with all the hardware, sealant and drill/driver bits.. We will sell for $140/kit. I am not ashamed and we have done our best to provide a reliable product that’s easy to install all while only hiring US citizens and paying all associated taxes, workers comp, etc… We will continue to try and bring down manufacturing costs all while providing people with a product they can count on that I have to mention has had a 100% satisfaction rating.
,,@@ContainerCreations I guess the 20$ an hour mandate didn't help. Even the reduced price still doesn't fit my VA Disability budget. Thanks.
If you go to this guys website there’s nothing available or pricing Lame. I would hsve purchased one.
Hello, I apologize, this is true. We have been working hard the last few months to build a new online store and release our new product which will be the same quality at a lower cost. We appreciate you trying to support our small business. We plan to have pre orders available in 1-2 weeks and will fulfill in 4-6 weeks. If anyone places an order after 4-6 weeks you will see a note about fulfillment stating your order will ship in 3-5 business days. We appreciate your feedback and realize it’s frustrating to land on a website that’s under construction.
Does the turbine (whirlybird) itself leak when it rains?
Turbine vents are designed not to leak because of the design of the fins. They also sit on the exterior of our adapter so there is no place for water to enter. Thanks!
For a 40' high cube container, do you recommend one or two vents?
We recommend two vents for containers larger than 20 feet. Thanks!
I just installed 2 of these on my full size container and it was easy to install! the construction on these adapters are made with quality workmanship and i would recommened these to anyone thinking about them!
Thank you for the feedback! We're happy the product worked well for you, and we appreciate your time to share your experience.
Will this work for a maxxair fan on a container?
Our adapter only works for vents with a 12" circular fitting.
You'd probably sell a ton of these if the price was reasonable. Everything on your website, too.
Should be mire like $150
Since the time that this was posted I'd bet CHINA is sending them in for 1/3
Cheaper lol
We are currently pursuing manufacturing out of the country to bring the price down.
@@ContainerCreations Just moving to a non-communist state would have done the trick.
I’m not sure if this is a spoof video or not has anyone actually brought this product
hello Justin, we sell about 50 a month in the summer months. We are a US based business and manufacture the parts in house.
thanks for this video, not time for me to attempt this install !
You can do it!
Is this still available
yes, you can purchase at www.USCC-US.com
What about the wind load in Florida during hurricane season?
We guarantee the product in any weather conditions and we have had numerous customers send us pictures of our product in tact after hurricanes and large hail storms.
$270..... I'll just weld my own air vents, Door and escape hatch
We have dropped the price to $200 and are work hard to move manufacturing offshore to bring the cost down significantly.
i'm trying to contact you by email but there is no reply. Can u please check your emails? search for findi@...

Can you make more on containers, ventelletion technics, if in any way can prevent condensation.
For that much money I would expect a paper template to facilitate the layout!
And the labor.
Like buddy said below, $270 for this???
Too steep for us $270.00 wow!
ikr. 30-60 maybe.
Love the product and the cost is okay compared to have a 100 degrees celsius container during the 6 summer months.
you are gona make alot of mony with this idea would you consider shipping it with the drill bits so theres no confusion on how to install it
Is this item still available? I tried a few times today to make contact via the phone number listed on the website and no response. Only an automated answering machine. I'd like to purchase one if I can make contact with a live person.
We now have a new version in stock at: www.containercreations.com/collections/active-products
I would love to have this and the skylight for my shipping container shop build.
$270.00 each whirlybird and each skylight. Just so your prepared for the sticker price. www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=www.uscc-us.com/product/adapter/&ved=2ahUKEwjS0KSotJLfAhXBy4MKHVtkAZkQFjALegQIARAB&usg=AOvVaw0m61JGzQBDCqGzTyQQlqWr
Hi. Can you use it for a chimney flue?
Mike Santamaria Hello! We could make you an adapter with fire retardant resin. I would have to find out if there would be a cost difference. Please email our support team at admin@uscc-us.com and we can go from there.
I like that. Nice video. Vic
super
Just weld it lol its cheaper and you can use a plasma cutter for the roof.
Evermont King -Thanks for the comment. Good point, if you know how to weld, have the equipment and time. This is an alternative for those that don’t. It’s also easy and quick to install which you can do in a fraction in the time it would take to weld. Thanks! - Liz Forrest
Where to get this product?
Prince Kabs www.uscc-us.com
saw your add on you tube.
how do i purshase the peice
Hi Kenny, to purchase a Vent Adaptor please call our office at (831) 515-9991 and we can process your order for you. For further reference, our homepage is www.uscc-us.com. Thanks, USCC Team
Good video but people should definitely caulk each screw head because if you don't they will leak.
Hi Michael, in the tutorial we specify that one of the beads of caulk goes over all the screw holes before you lay the part down. This is adequate, thank you for your comment.
In the video we show and instruct to apply one of the beads of adhesive at 1” inside the perimeter. One inch is also where all the screw holes are. Two for one! We have had zero complaints of leaks. Thank you for your comment!
Caulk iver screw hole is a great IDEA… but not sane as hoing back wnd caulking individual screws after installation. About 2-5 minutes & less than $2 sealant? C’mon now! Pride in your work
Would I use adapter one for a 40 foot container?
Hi Patrick, that would depend on your application/use of the container. For storage you could probably use just one Whirlybird and Vent Adaptor. If you're using it like I use my 45 footer, as an office and seperated work shop we recommend two for adequate ventilation. For questions or to place an order please call us at (831) 515-9991.
Have you found that the whirllybird really does prevent condensation and moisture build up?
where can we get one?
Hi Nick, please visit our website: container.parts to place an order. If you have any problems contact us directly at 831-515-9991.
