Red light is useless unless it is the first option. Red light is used to decrease visibility to the enemy in the military. So cycling through a white light before reaching red defeats the purpose of the red light. Although in my own personal opinion, the red light on a personal defense weapon like this, is a pretty useless option. But in the very slim chance you were in a scenario where you needed light but didn't want to be discovered, I guess it would benefit you, I just don't see a scenario like that happening, and if it did, it'd be incredibly rare
