You my friend are an honest man, but I feel like you are rushing as you speak, what I mean is that I think you are speaking slightly too quickly, slow the pace a little bit and I think it'll be awesome, (It is great video with clear points and good show, but just slower the pace a bit)
Hey, thank you for the feedback. Yes that's something I noticed after watching it back and I'll work on in future vids. All the best Jassers.
I am ambitious to learn programming but I am lazy.
3:18 please make a video. if you already did, please let us know.
Yeah I'll make a video about this.
Great video, Can you please clarify what you said at this time 1:42, " to break complex problems into smal???? manageable pieces"
Yeah of course, I said 'small, more manageable pieces'. All the best!
I can code a bit. But when it comes to problem solving I tend to skip it. What should I do?
Yeah problem solving is one half of the coin, I'll do a video about this but if you google search 'code challenges' there are different websites that enable you to practice coding problems and get better at problem solving them. For example, Edabit is one of the websites for this.
Thank you so much! Sometimes TH-cam makes amazing recommendations on FYP
Aha cheers Ivan, all the best!
Man this is exactly what I wanted! Even tried to make this type of stuff myself but I always second guessed my choices organizing things. Order, structure, how make this stuff in a way that doesn't hinder progress or mixes up concepts, organizing what topics to learn.
That's brilliant Pedro. Glad it was useful for you. You're right, it is a tricky process to figure out a flow that works for you. All the best!
Obsidian is what i use and it has been great
Awesome. I'll share the spreadsheet at some point, I have seen your other comment.
Thank you man, can you share the spreadsheet this will help me a lot.
Yes will do, I'm going to tidy it up for you and I'll link it for download in a coming video.
Thanks thats a interesting way to structure the learning process.
Hey, you're welcome!
Can you share the spreadsheet also make a video on how you're utilising flashcards
Yes, will do 👍
@Mindwear where cani get the spreadsheet bro ?
@Mindwear i am waiting too
Maybe play for Arsenal, Dennis?
yep im learning programming im mainly interested in generative AI and Agents and using AI models.
Yeah, awesome!
been a dev for decades and I wouldn't recommend programming to anyone these days. LLM's currently write better code than around 95% of the people I've worked with if you know how to prompt them. What this means is that people who can do the business side of things, who also know Computer Science will be doing the programming more and more leaving much less room for programmers who aren't computer scientists. Which is the 5-10 year prospect at best, because eventually LLM's will probably get good enough to not require the CS part. Unless you mix your programming with something physical like electrical engineering, you're cooked.
How/where do you learn to properly prompt a LLM so that it gives you exactly what you are looking for? Can someone that has never studied programming and has little to no technical knowledge do this?
Thank you bro, and sharing the spreadsheet would be good. Also, it will be helpful if you can share specific resources to learn the topics so we cannot get into tutorial hell. Thank you...
Yeah I'll make a video on that, cheers sanji. All the best 👊
@MindwearThank you bro for replying...😊❤
This is a great layout. I can attest to the benefits of programming!
Thanks Jack, absolutely!
Something about this video that instantly resonated with me (more than just the title). Something in the content (idk what) made me instantly press the subscribe button. Keep making such videos!!! Cheers!!!!!
Aha thank you shubham, glad this connected with you. Thank you for subbing!
@Mindwear I agree with this comment. It would be interesting to see some more vids on this exact topic, but in more detail. Say take every point you made, and back it up with more information.
@ Yeah that's a fair point Fleniken, I'll do a future vid like that in the future. This was one of those video ideas I had to get out of my head and into the world first lol. Cheers for the feedback.
Thanks, bro! What's the name of the app or platform you're using to write on?
No worries, excalidraw 🤛
Cool ass channel baby !
Cheers Noel 🤛
its probably the most difficult thing for lazy people to learn, at the slightest set back you'll want to quit. The learning curve is too steep for "lazy" people
No such thing as laziness, but there is depression, or anxiety, or adhd, or all three induced procrastination. ADHD and anxiolitic meds work best.
Thanks dude, you made a good work. Though i think video is a little bit too short, i mean you talked quickly. Ofcourse there was nothing superfluous, but still its unusual to hear 4 minutes long video with only valuable information and no bla-bla .
Yeah true, I try and give max information to your time and exit. Indeed there is a lot of filler content on TH-cam lol. Some of my other vids are slightly longer. All the best.
Great video mate!
Cheers Enzo!
my guy..... when i've read the title, i was like: it's either a snake oil or a click bait. hahaha. you've crushed the title in a first second with a hard reality. short and to the point. keep it up. cheers
Haha yes you have to ride the clickbait sometimes, as long as you're honest immediately! Thank you for watching.
Thanks brother❤
No worries!
This is awesome, thank you so much for articulating your thoughts with helpful visuals.
You're welcome James ✊
Rust is about to be timeless programming language.
Nice video! You really should focus more on yourself than the graphic, this isnt a PowerPoint presentation its a youtube video, nobody is going to want to watch a powerpoint presentation. But as a new youtuber you will inevitably learn what to do and what not to do. Good luck :)
For reference, the concept of "The Dip" was introduced by the author Seth Godin. Thank you for watching.
super good video thank you so much
No worries 👍
Thanks for sharing! I'm going through Basic Economics by Thomas Sowell and was looking for a good follow-up book, so your recommendations appeared at the right time :)
That's brilliant to hear. I'll check out that Thomas Sowell book, thank you for the comment :)
Please ignore the mention of '4 books'-I actually picked 3. This video isn’t too serious and a quick one, but I wanted to share these books. Thanks for watching.
hey shall we create a community with us your subscribers and you or whoever is interested and take some coding goal and communicate as, what I think people are falling to phine addiction is because they lack enjoyable company with work they want to do and hence life turns boring
Hey thanks for the comment. I'd like to create something like that in the future, but my time is a bit stretched in all honesty! I'll keep this idea in mind though, you're right we need to find solutions together as a community to help each other out.
i'd subscribe but im not a coder so dont wanna ruin your algorithm but good video
No worries. I'm planning to make a mixture of productivity related vids and coding. All the best.
My first programming language was C, and thanks to it I fell in love with programming and computer science. I don't know if any other language would have had the same effect. Still using it more than 15 years latef 😅
Yes, it sounds like C has been good to you. All the best 😎
As somebody who has tried and failed to learn how to program time and time again, I am now convinced that C should be everyone's first language.
Yes this a common thread I'm hearing too.
How to get actual interviews?
Being a GenZ I would totally agree with the points you have made. Idk why I clicked in this video by I am glad to do it and would do it again.❤
Aha thank you ajk. All the best!
good thought
Thank you 👍
idk why youtube gave me your video. I just wanted to tell you -good job! Absolutely right thoughts! Have a nice day! Hello from Chicago =)
Aha cheers! All the best on the other side of the pond :)
Awesome video bro, what's the software that you use to make this slide?
Aha cheers. Excalidraw is the software.
you should learn hindi first
I know JavaScript and Java, still can't get an interview
did you forget to mention about c#? It's in the timeless category I suppose.
Yeah absolutely, thank you for the comment. C# was my first language, just missed mentioning it in this vid 👍
I think we should learn how a language work. then just know the differences between each languages. By doing this you can learn almost all of the language out there.
that's correct
Yeah I completely agree. Once you have solid foundations that 70% of it.
