I'm recreating the Nintendo levels of the MvsDK games in the Construction Zone. I can only find 8 of the March of the Minis ones, possibly because players can only have 8 at a time and Nintendo may not have lifted the restriction for themselves.
I like Metroidvanias just as much as I do Puzzle Platformers, so I'm probably gonna record at least one, eventually.
As of February 2014, the Viddler link no longer works. They deleted all free accounts. I don't plan on reuploading the videos that were there, but I do plan on starting new channels on Veoh (if it's possible to fix its apparent framerate problem) and Dailymotion if I can so that all of my stuff isn't just on one website.

Super Mario Maker - Mirror Madness #02 (Coin Puzzle) by Adveloq

Welp, looks like I did it again. In my attempts to speedrun this course, I bumped it up from Expert to Super Expert. Not that I didn't have any issues beating the course normally, but it was still Expert after my first clear. Manually restarting or exiting the course shouldn't count towards the number of attempts, especially when done after the initial clear.
While I applaud the creativity behind the course, it has a lot of annoying aspects:
1. That lone, easy to hit coin/block, right over the P-Switch in the starting room? Get rid of that before setting off the big Bob-omb and the course becomes impossible to finish.
2. Getting rid of it before getting the POW Block means having to backtrack to the Bill Blaster that dispenses POW Blocks unless....
3. The player has already gotten rid of the top-most coin/block and dropped the POW Block Bill Blaster into the pit, making the course unwinnable.
4. Even when leaving the aforementioned coin/block alone, getting rid of the coin/block at the very top and the POW Block Bill Blaster means that a P-Switch has to be retrieved from the P-Switch Bill Blaster so that the Muncher carrying the POW Block has a place above that tiny hole to land.
5. The player has no choice but to go through a checkpoint, making them more likely to hit the coin/block mentioned in point 1. Sure, they can get hit, but that wastes time.
6. Because there's a P-Switch Door on top of spikes that must be traveled across twice, The Fire Flower is required to finish the course. Get hit? Backtrack all the way back to the room where the Buzzy Beetle Shell had to be used to get another one.
7. The Bill Blaster in the main area is blocked off by a Brick Block, so a P-Switch has to be active in order to use it. The problem is that it seems to take a while to fire off, which either means being extremely quick when setting off the Big Bob-omb (I haven't successfully done this, so I don't know if it's possible) or exiting and reentering the room.
7. In the subarea, the right side of every major room looks identical, making it incredibly easy to lose track of myself myself (hence the title, I guess).
8. In the room where a Bob-om has to be placed on top of a P-Switch, Bob-ombs fired from the Bill Blaster will land on Mario when trying to place a bomb near its base unless the player is constantly moving or they kick the Bob-omb from a close enough distance so that it makes it to the base, but not so close that it ricochets off of the Bill Blaster, causing the explosion to miss its mark.
9. In my attempts to cut down on the backtracking, I carried the Buzzy Beetle Shell with me while I tried to accomplish the task in point 8. It's annoying when the Buzzy Beetle becomes active again or, worse, a Bob-omb gets fired into it. On one run, I had the Bill Blaster fire one last Bob-omb as it was falling, destroying the Buzzy Beetle Shell as I was about to enter the door.
After a while, I became frustrated enough to constantly accidentally kick items instead of properly setting them down and somehow accidentally enter doors even though I play with the D-Pad.
Like Escape: The Forty Pipes, there are hints that can be revealed by climbing up Beanstalks (shown at the end), but I didn't realize they were there until I figured out how to get every coin except for the one behind the P-Switch Bill Blaster. I got that coin by complete accident.
Despite all of my whining, I actually do enjoy the course and did star it offscreen. Also, those pipe corridors have a nice beat to them.

The pause before Chemical Plant Zone Act 1 is a restroom break. The pause at the start of Lava Reef Zone Act 2 is both a restroom break and water break. I cut all but a second or two out of both pauses. This is my third run of the game. I've done full run as Knuckles since then and, wow, it feels like another game as him. As far as the classic titles go, Mania may actually surpass S3&K for me.

Man, this stage is annoying and the boss, while surprisingly easy, is really stingy about when it comes to opportunities to damage it or its claws. I really wish that this world was just a little easier. I get it’s supposed to be hard since it’s the final part of the game, but does it really need to be *this* hard? I played through the entire rest of the game just fine, all levels, all worlds, all secret exits, and couldn’t even get past the second level of world 8. Maybe I just have a skill issue, but this is far too difficult to be enjoyable.
