I'm firing up Easy Red 2 now to test something actually so I'll check it out . You on Xbox, PC? Also, are you meaning in vehicles (I'm assuming)

@@ghillieghostgaming yeah when you're in a tank or artillery in the tutorial(vehicle training) and if I remember right also in the bazooka tutorial there's like a stat that show the penetration meter, distance, and intuitive red/green to let you know the most effective part to shoot But for some reason there's no indicator like that in the normal mission I'm in pc,

To Change Ammo Types (Armor Piercing, etc.) Xbox INFANTRY: You can call in Armor Piercing High Explosive arty if you are the squad leader (and you still have a living radio man in your squad) by selecting it in the menu. Hold LB, use the right thumb stick to select it, and let go of LB and it'll call it in. ARTILLERY GUNS: To change to AP ammo in artillery guns, you hit Y and then hit your right trigger to select the new ammo type. TANKS: You have to be in the Gunner's seat (hit the left or right arrow until you see you've selected the target icon in the top right of the screen). Then you hit Y and then hit the right trigger to select the new ammo type. PC: INFANTRY: You have to be the squad leader (and have a living radio man). Hold Tab button, move mouse over APHE, and release Tab. ARTILLERY GUNS: To change to the AP rounds in an artillery gun you have to hit the down arrow (while in the gunner seat), select the ammo type you want, and hit R to reload the new ammo. TANKS: To pick the ammo type you want you have to first be in the gunner seat and hit the up or down arrow and select the ammo type you want. Then you have to hit the R key to reload the new ammo type. Hope that helps, and if it's PC just let me know and I'll test it on the PC version 🙂👍

I checked on Xbox for you and you have to hold the start button (the button that has three lines for anyone who may not know...I say that because some people actually don't know because they are new gamers). Hope that helps 🙂👍

That's actually something I hadn't thought of. So it doesn't work on the steam deck at all? How many games overall have you had issues working with the steam deck? I've thought about getting one for a while but haven't been sure since not every game works with it.

@ghillieghostgaming A lot of games work, but some key games don't. Don't get me wrong. I'm glad I got one. Just a sprinkle of disappointment here & there. Overall very happy with it

@@ghillieghostgaming also steam says fully compatible. Maybe something I'm not doing on my end.

I'd love to be able to take steam anywhere. I wonder if anyone else has a steam deck and can comment if they've had the same problem? The plus side though is it's easy to reach out to the devs. They actually care about fixing issues for the gamers, and update it regularly. Try reaching out to them and let me know if they get back to you. I want to see how they do with helping with an issue 👍

That's so damn true! Half the time depending on the map I only win if I get into the right place at the right time 🤦‍♂️🤣

In it's defense, I believe these recordings were made when I was still using a single PC recording style. I've recently purchased an Elgato capture card so I could get better quality videos for everybody. It actually does run pretty smoothly though, and the devs are always giving it frequent updates to always make it better so it'll get even better 🥳

I played a PvP online match with my buddy and the pile up on the beach was absolutely ridiculous 🤣🤣

I love the game so much I bought it for both PC and Xbox, but I play the PC version more since I have all the DLCs. The DLCs are what take the game to a whole new level in my mind.

Don't feel bad, I did the same thing 😮‍💨 Had such high hopes thinking they were going back to the World War 2 games more but disappointed as always sadly.

@@ghillieghostgaming agreed although vanguard could have been a great alternate reality/dieselpunk FPS but they ruined that too.

That would've been a smart move actually to go with an alternate reality. If only they hired more gamers like you...maybe they wouldn't be struggling currently. Granted I'll give them some credit. Played MW3 free for a few days lately and the zombies DMZ has been a shit ton of fun with my friends. Just wish they had more than one map for it though (just for some variety). The rest felt the same. Black Ops 6 day one release on game pass though. Glad I don't have to buy that one

What part did you like best in Normandy or Ardennes? Normandy won me over because it felt like matches of Squad 44 but with bots. I liked Ardennes for showing the fights before the US even joined.

Personally, Ardennes was fun in my mind, but Stalingrad had more urban chaos while Ardennes has more countryside battles. If you like up close combat, I'd definitely recommend Stalingrad.

@@ghillieghostgaming I really do want the Stalingrad one bc I love the guns loadouts and uniforms and battles but I’ve heard it’s a bit buggy and idk what but I will probably wait till a sale Idk if I will get the full bundle on sale because I already have Normandy

Get the bundle on sale. Saves a lot of money and you get so much more variety which helps round the game out imo. Love gaming but never hurts to save some money doing it when you can 💯

I'll have to test that out for Xbox. Could it maybe be a new keybind issue from the new Xbox update they put out lately?

Such a bummer, why allow a mouse and keyboard only to restrict the chat feature? Definitely something worth noting to the devs for sure. I have a few notes myself I'd like to mention too starting with making it easier to join the squad of a friend who is cross platform. Hard to do, but a long-term goal I'd like to see personally. I think having that feature is the future of gaming

That's true if you're playing against bots, but I've still been able to sneak up on them as long as I used cover, concealment, and the terrain to my advantage. The hedgerows for Normandy worked amazing for me to flank, but the open fields got a little sketchy. I'll have to experiment more because I can't tell if it's surprise or if they're programmed not to shoot right away.

I did try that with the Normandy DLC and it does make it a hell of a lot more immersive. It's a little chaotic without the locations on though. Never know where to go next 😂 I'm looking forward to trying the Afghanistan mod soon. Have you tried that one yet?

It definitely does have those awesome Battlefield V vibes to it. I always love playing the Grand Operations, and this hits that mark PERFECTLY! What's your favorite BF V game mode?

The loot system is definitely the coolest part of this game. I've always wondered why we can't just use ammo from an enemy when you run out of bullets or supplies. That's what you'd do in real life. I'm so happy they added this feature ♥️💯

@ghillieghostgaming I love the game 🎮 I've just bought two additional dlcs, the ardennes and Normandy. I really enjoy the kos campaign. If you've ever seen Captain corelli Mandolin, that's the battle it's based on towards the end of the film.

I never saw that but I'm going to have to watch it now! I've always loved WW2 movies, especially ones based on a battle. I watched the old movie Battle of the Bulge on TH-cam lately and loved it. Had to watch it when I saw the Panzer commandant was the shark hunter from Jaws 🤣👍 I'd definitely recommend that movie

How is this game for Switch anyways? Is it only with a controller or does it have that Wii style gameplay for Easy Red 2? Also, sorry for your loss 🤣 Loved Sniper Elite, but it's changed so much it doesn't feel the same anymore imo. I hate that feeling when you buy a game and don't really like it 💯

For switch it’s good but the graphics aren’t the animations a little weird. It’s with controller and it has motion controls so gyro aiming I never liked it but now I love it for seem weird reason

I think Easy Red 2 would be so cool actually aiming in the game. That is what made me get a Quest 2 tbh. I really love having the ability to actually aim. It just makes it 20x more immersive when it's not just a gun sitting in one spot on your screen lol

Ardennes has been a lot of fun to play imo. It's refreshing to see a game that shows the battles that took place before the Battle of the Bulge. I honestly think you can't go wrong with any DLC, but it's a gateway drug to the others 🤣 Thanks for watching btw 🙏

I'll have to test that for you to be 100% sure, but I've played on PC and Xbox and found joystick and mouse both worked for me for driving. It could be Google translate, but I want to be sure I'm understanding what you were asking. Are you wondering why it seems the mouse is thought of more by the developers than a controller's joysticks?

It seems like you've mastered the art of survival in the game! There's a lot to learn with this game, but it's so much fun to play you don't even realize it. My biggest hope is that more people support this game, because I see SOO much potential for this game (especially for a small dev group)! What's your favorite map so far?

got it sunday with all of the dlcs, i love it, the thing i dont really like is the plane controls, but i got used to it, i loved the mission editor, but sometimes janky, overall, good game.

​@@skier726I definitely agree with the plane mechanics. That's honestly my least favorite thing about this game TBH. Like you said, I got used to it, but it definitely needs a new system in my mind for me to really enjoy the flying roles.

I definitely agree! Stalingrad is so much fun to play! Normandy has been my favorite so far because of the St. Mere Eglise map actually having you parachute in. I loved when I got to do that in Squad 44 and MOH Airborne ♥️

Forgot the mission name, but the later one in Stalingrad where you start in ruined city blocks, move to open fields, take fortified positions on top of a hill, to finally storming a village below said hill might be my favorite. Just looking back and seeing how far you've gone is amazing.

​@@ZSTEbro don't remind me of that one The hill had a flak on top of it and bots were fkn killing me every time i managed to get on the hill(got killed by the flak like almost 15 times) I was super frustrated and was going to shut my pc down but completed the mission

Some of the missions are hard as hell man 🤣 I've had a lot of moments where I keep fighting in the same area over and over again. Some of the islands in the Pacific are just like that
