Portsmouth Historic Dockyard Take Two: Powerboats, Submarines, Shipbuilding & Admiral Horatio Nelson
Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is an area of HM Naval Base Portsmouth - and there is so much to see! A previous video covered our visit to HMS Victory and the Mary Rose.
This time we visited Boatshed 4, dedicated to powerboats and small military craft; took the waterbus across to the Royal Navy Submarine Museum where we went inside a submarine active during the Cold War; and we visited “The Dockyard Story” exhibition that tells the story of how Portsmouth Dockyard led the world in shipbuilding and repair and the Nelson Gallery, dedicated to all aspects of Admiral Lord Nelson’s life.
Quality of indoor shots is impacted on by the GoPro's performance in low light.

This video documents a few days spent in Lüdinghausen (the “town of water castles”) and in Münster, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. We visited with good friends in early December, and, being Advent, the Christmas markets were in full swing and the glühwein was flowing. What a lovely video, it brought back so many nostalgic memories, I was brought up in Richmond but moved away 40 years ago, I haven’t been back since and it’s good to see nothing much has changed Oop Dales . I particularly enjoyed the Delius at the start( I’m a professional violinist in an orchestra). The water splash/ ford has particular meaning as my parents regularly had picnics with me and my sister up there on Sunday afternoons in the summer. After seeing your video I now have a real itch to come back home and visit wonderful Swaledale. Thank you

What a lovely message - thank you. And I'm pleased you liked the music - as long as copyright issues allow, I prefer to use classical music to back my videos, especially if there is a connection between the music and the images (wasn't Delius a Yorkshire chap?). No lousy rackets for me! The Dales (and Swaledale in particular) mean a great deal to me - in my childhood I used to go on holiday up there regularly with my parents. A glorious part of the world and I hope you get to return.

Dear Christina M and your Kautz in and with a hat, Our wait for the sequel has come to a happy end - what a successful yet another true masterpiece of audio vision. For me and my wife, another deeply moving reminiscence of our hiking holiday in the Outer Hebrides. The combination of the calmly moving images with the beautiful matching pieces of music moved us deeply again. The opening credits with "my" Ceapabhal and the closing credits with "my" Huishinish are wonderfully successful. From Ceapabhal I was able to see "my" St Kilda archipelago 60 km away - it will probably remain my last place of longing - take a look at this youtube link: th-cam.com/video/IzInG7u7wRo/w-d-xo.html - it doesn't have to be a trip from Oban - it also works on your next holiday from Leverburgh.
