The Mount Cordeaux track is a fairly simple yet rewarding track in Main Range National Park, Queensland about 120 kilometres south east of Brisbane. Hey can you share the location of spotting this amazing creature
How did you cross the first stream of water? Thanks
At this time, it was a very shallow stream with rocks to easily step on to cross.
Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed the video.
Nice!!
Good to see you back on the trails. Just saw this new video that you did in Queensland and it looks absolutely amazing. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing more of your videos in the future.
that mouse moves so quick!!
If I ever find myself visiting strays I would love to join you 😊
Spent a week there in year 12, a magical place that soaks into you from the feet up, just like a tree
I love your videos, especially this one. It’s a shame that I haven’t seen any more of your hiking videos - I quite enjoyed them and have done two hikes that you have shown here on TH-cam already, which I enjoyed.
I love this ❤ I honestly can’t understand why you haven’t released any more videos of your walks - I love them; they’re amazing
Hello! Thank you for your comment. Apologies - just a lot of busy things happening in life at the moment. Just posted a new video yesterday, though!
Definitely a beautiful walk
looks close to europe amazing
It's a good walk, I have done it many times.
I love to do that track thank you !
this isnt near a train station right? is there proper signal on the start of the loop where you parked? like i can book for Uber from there after the walk?
Hey! Sorry for the very long delay in replying to your question. I wouldn't recommend trying to book Uber from the start of this hike as it is quite far into the park. There should be phone signal from the start of the track though depending on your provider.
hello, your videos are so nice.. last month i followed the same trail you did for the lane cove river loop. just a quick question for this hike though. is this suitable for 13yrs old? i wanna bring my kid up to the Uloola falls and back.
how many kilometers from heathcote station to uloola falls? and what book do you recommend to know the wild life in sydney or australia in general? you seem to know the names of the birds and reptiles and that what makes your videos interesting too and worth streaming.
Thank you! I am glad you enjoy them and that you tried the Lane Cove walk - I hope you enjoyed that, too! If you are well prepared with good shoes, it should not be a problem for a 13 year old to walk to Uloola falls and back. Just take care when navigating the trail between Karloo pools and Uloola falls as it becomes more difficult at that point. When you reach Uloola falls, also be mindful of the cliff edges.
I recommend viewing the trail map I created. You can use the measure tool there to identify the distances: www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1Yr-wOnuze8Y6zvvTPmtji51g3Wrt6ls7&entry=yt&ll=-34.113175313610185%2C151.01648620000003&z=14
I haven't used a book in the past but I would estimate that most books on this topic would be adequate. I have simply typed in the description of the animal or plant into a Google search (+ added the park or region name) to find websites that feature information about the plants and animals in the area. Then I would identify a match between what I saw and what the website shows and describes for that species of plant or animal. :)
@@trailrhiking yes i bought her new shoes and shes gonna try it on this weekend on the spit to manly hike. i saw your vid about this too. we’re gonna do the karloo pools next week. thanks for the tips!
One of my very favourite places! Thank you for a beautiful video😊 PS in cooler weather, Bluff Mountain is well worth adding on!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it and agreed - such a stunning place for sure! Absolutely - we definitely had a look at Bluff Mountain from afar but the temperature made us say..."maybe next time" :D
There are so many beautiful hikes in NSW....you should check out Walk My World's blog, they have visited a lot of places that you could get inspiration from. I have personally visited a number of the ones on their blog..... Have you tried canyoning in Blue Mountains and Newnes....they look amazing!
This is a nicer track than the other one from the residential side.....have you been to Kangaroo Creek Falls.....there is a track from Waterfall station and the second falls on the way to Kangaroo is nice too
That's great! Thanks for sharing! Will have to check that one out next time!
Did this walk 2 years ago on a weekday afternoon, starting from Mt. Kuring-gai. No signage/direction arrows until you reach the waterfront. No direction arrows on your journey to Berowra. There was 1 snake though, and only 1 other walker. Paths are narrow, and it gets tricky as you climb to Berowra in fading light.
I recall that being the case, too. Some parts you need to just follow the path which is fairly easy to stick to. Definitely recommend to do the walk in the other direction so you can avoid the steep climb at the end of the walk.
how long would it take to do this hike at a leisurely pace
This is very hard to estimate, sorry. Depends on the person and what a leisurely pace would be for them. I recommend viewing the track information and recommended duration listed there and estimate based on that.
lovely video! how do i go there by public transport?
You could probably take the train/metro up to North Ryde station and walk from there? Google maps should be able to help you plan that.
Thanks very much for this. I did it with a group 50 or more years ago when it was a much less developed. Now in my late 70's, I went for a walk starting at the Mt Ku-ring-gai end last winter, on a glorious sunny day. I went as far as the point you'd reached by you at the 10.30 mark, stopped for a drink and a bit of morning tea. looking down to Cowan Creek. Very much enjoyed it and I'll be back next winter.. I think the point I'd reach was the right place for me to turn around. I could have carried on to Appletree Bay but no idea how I would have got back. As an aside, my great-aunt and her husband lived in what is now Young St Mt Ku-ring-gai. What was their house is still there, looking much the same.. Overall, a morning of good nostalgia
Wow! That is fantastic. Thank you for sharing this. It must have been amazing reliving your experience after all those years. It is a stunningly beautiful area.
I definitely wish that you could make more hiking videos - I haven’t seen any new ones in a while and I miss them
Thank you! That is very kind of you. I will try to post more, soon! :)
Great video. I might have to give this walk a go..
Thank you! Definitely consider giving it a go. Even the Riverside walk portion is a nice walk through the park (the easier part) but the entire loop is fantastic, too!
beautiful walk / hike. thank you for sharing.
Thank you!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much my dear friend
Have a good day my dear friend
Absolutely beautiful - I love this
Going tom morning as we are having absolutely gorgeous weather right now!
Awesome! Enjoy the walk :)
I want to do that lovely walk and thank you so much for taking us on this journey .
Do you know if this walk is open? I’m very keen to do this walk in the near future but not sure if it’s open or not. Last I heard it was closed due to the heavy rainfall in the area that caused some damage
We recommend checking the NSW Parks website for all of the latest information about track closures. :)
Lovely video
Such a beautiful walk. Do you know if you can get to this track via public transport? I would love to do this track
We are not certain of the current service schedules but it might be possible. It is recommended to try directions via google maps or the local public transport website timetables to confirm this.

Err mate, you missed the aboriginal rock carvings.
Thank you. Yes, you are correct. Next time, we will keep a lookout for them!
Just wanted to ask, as when I do this walk I will be coming by public transport, how far away is the nearest bus stop from Bouddi National Park? This is absolutely beautiful ❤

Great vlog.. thanks for sharing
Absolutely beautiful scenery - one day I would love to do this walk
Tnx for sharing. Haven’t done this one, but looks stunning. Always enjoy the hikes on ridges or near water. Added to my to do list!
Awesome! Yes, it is definitely one to add to the to-do list if you enjoy hiking near water. A large portion of it follows next to the inlet. Enjoy! 👍
Stunning...and well captured.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed :)
Such a beautiful national park - I love this
Agreed! This is a stunning place in SE Queensland.
