What Is The Best Environment For Your Training?...
After 70 years, a victimized minority had the courage to revolt against British neglect. The collaborating unionists could have set up a respectable local government, but Lloyd George and Churchill, warmongers who had sent millions to their deaths, backed a rotten apartheid statelet in modern Europe. There were three bad sides. Not much insight here. English men talking about Ireland - watch out.
It's just like listening to Wayne Rooney, errm
Me and a few lads were working away from home and we had our digs in Hereford. I'm a ex fusilier ,so I told my mates to be very careful not to get gobby and be respectful with people who have got a bit of a tan and are 5 foot 9 with a Scottish accent
Funny tartan talk ... made me laugh over here in New Zealand, where Scottish heritage is common. Great interview, especially liked the candour on both sides of the conversation. Thank you.
"There's still isn't a good enough movie for The Odyssey." --- Christopher Nolan agrees and he's making one!
Mmmm
I love the questions you asked Matt. Sometimes all we need is a positive shift in mindset to help us get to where we want to go!
Billy Billingham admitted in interview that he had a marked map but the Serbs didn't find it during the search.
I notice most of the UKSF guys wear the same thing on their wrists. What is this?
You don't find these kind of legends very often. Such a good video. Thanks Mick.
How come all these SAS guys have no problem sitting in front of a camera but Andy McNab has to be blurred out?
Nothing this guys sais... "makes sense"
What were you doing destroying Yugoslavia ? Result was a muslim mafia state of Kosovo thanks for your service 😂 not
They were going to break in to this house without first using tech surveillance to detect internal sound? Very odd story if that makes sense. Because an IRA operative would suss you immediately with your daft clipboard question.
Op Ajax 👌
This deserves more views. The subject is so interesting
Dont you mean you spoke in an English accent? People speak English in Belfast lol.
I’m English but Jesus Christ even I know 400lbs is CRAZY
Thanks for the podcast I've ordered TJ's book "The Dose Effect" Looking forward to reading it and implementing things to improve these natural brain chemicals
Never giving up
No wonder Robin was and is hated by many who were in the SAS at the time. Sadly, for much of the old guard he tells it like it is. No flannel of dishonesty whatsoever. They ended up making this mans life a misery so much so that he was forced to leave..
The "come down" is the grief and loss of something very important ending: Anger, Depression, Bargaining, Isolation, and eventually, hopefully Acceptance.
Do uk rangers do p company?
SAS guys who passed the jungle phase are super monkeys....😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅❤❤❤❤❤❤
The jungle is a nightmare...tge heat...the pest...the moisture.....the germs....you name it.....😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Bottle larvae, nasty !
I know a few of these lads personally, some of the most down to earth, loyal and humble characters you'll ever know. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Please note, I was not in the SAS or the Royal Marines, just a lucky Army bloke who was attached to the Royal Marines, getting stuff done in order that Dayton could be agreed; helped the SAS (forget what they called themselves in theatre), collected one fo their Senior Officers out fo Sarajevo etc. Their SNCO was great, a couple of the Troopers were very helpful.
Well, sorry, but I do not recognise him, either from May '95 forward, or from when a tranche of SAS were RTU'd in August '95. Sector Liaison teams (the key is the word Liaison) arranged meeting and got people safely to and from the meetings. The capture etc, sounds like an exaggerated version of the 1st capture of my Royal Marine and me, conflated with my 4th or 5th capture. 1st time captured, we were released after the SNCO Marines borrowed a few baby-tanks and crew from the Malays and collected us.
The common theme, do the best you can and never give up. Your mind is your biggest barrier to succeed or fail. Great lessons from great men❤
totally agree worst film i have ever seen. Betrayal to the SAS
Hearing this truly inspirational man tell us what time he brushes his teeth was blinkin inspirational.
Love how he says "No big deal." When talking about knives and AK's being pointed at them frequently 😄
Cover as UN and he is gathering intelligence for nato..eh what a cun..t
It’s funny to see always the selection process shown as the hills phase. That’s just the initial the weeding out process…the hardest part is the jungle…
What real war/s were you guys in ?
You should have stayed at home and minded your own business. Too many warmongers in this world
Emaciated I think you mean mate. Rough place, two tours in BH, and later kosovo.
Boris Johnson is a trained SAS commander we need to bring him back.
@deathski And my names James Bond do u believe that also ?
@ Boris has done more fan dances than you have had hot dinners.. we should bring back old money as well.
You mean SAS as in Sack a shit
Great video! 👑
Who are the SAS?
Super Army Soldier.
Scandinavian airlines. Top blokes. Mostly scottish pilots
Castlerock 58 You're a asshole It was the United nations. Trying to save lives. That went well 🤔
It dont make sense, waffle never did!
I got kicked out of the French foreign legion in 6 weeks for having a fight in the canteen in marseille. Young dumb and full of
I read an ex SNCOs view on selection of selection and the type of guy that SF want and there was no type, a full Regiment of 6ft 6in tall and 4ft wide, muscle bound operator is more of an American thing.. On the same selection course you might get 200 begin the course and 7 get badged at the end, of that 7 guys, one might be a 6ft 3in tall, athletic built good looking thoroughbred, but next to him get a 5ft 5in, stocky built, ugly toad, next to him might be Mr average 5ft 10in, average looking, average build, balding at the front, slightly overweight stomach, some might be 11st racing snakes and some might be naturally large 18st monsters, some might be very quiet, can't get words out of them that isn't about work, they finish work, go home, mow the grass, push the kid on a swing, pay the mortgage and repeat, very few people know this dude, he slips under the radar but hes brilliant at the job, husband, dad ect, but the next guy might be a super sociable guy that everyone knows, he's invited to every party, at every wedding, always the best man, can't go down a street without seeing someone say hi to them but never see him talking about his job, there's the nightmare character on the piss and Mr Tea total, there is no type.. What they all have is something inside that so few people have, that there isn't a name for it.. I think it's a perfect mix of all things, there might be guys that can run faster, swim faster for longer, March harder, carry more weight, know more tactics but the guys in the SF are above average in all those things even if never the best, they are always positive, and take positive action even if not smiley outwardly happy guys, they have a give it a go attitude, and can mix with guys as well as being happy alone.. They are a different breed, a mix of lots of positives and negatives.
I attempted SAS selection back in 96 did the Pre Selection it went OK but deferred the Course I should have been on. Then life got in the way a divorce Court Martial soldier on for ABH meant I never returned. I've no shame just regrets about not trying again when life evened out.
Unfortunately I found therapy only made things a lot, lot worse; however, I know people who benefitted from it greatly. I just found the whole therapeutic process anxiety inducing and painful. Also I was totally unable to trust the therapist which was never going to be helpful.
Yes mate, that makes sense...
One best quality of being special forces operatives might be the mental resilience called Happy GO Lucky...and always optimistic..even under very grave situation and condition...Correct ne if I got it wrong....Cheers...😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I have often wondered; Do the SAS worry whether they are breaking international law? Or not.
Can you ask Why fighting age men are in are country Does he think its a threat to uk people ?
Sir Sausage Starmer recently slipped up and said all this has been allowed to happen on purpose and it was the Tories over the last 14 years who let the open border policy happen.
