My name is Spencer and I love karting. I started indoor karting in June 2021 at Team Sport in Cardiff, and ended up going through to both the local and regional BIKC finals. In early 2022, I started to practice with the Praga UK team, and passed my ARKS test in April 2022. I left that team in April 2024, and I currently race with MDL Racing in X30 Junior and Senior (Europe) classes. My kart is a Synergy, and I am a member of Trent Valley Kart Club (TVKC - my 'home' club) and Whilton Mill Kart Club. This channel is to share my journey - I hope you like watching it.
I race in support of St.David's Hospice Care in Malpas, Newport, who cared for my mum until her death in September 2023 from stage 4 breast cancer.

PF International X30 Senior Practice - track drying, last session on wets - 19th October 2024
Following on from my previous video of the very wet practice session at Paul Fletcher International on Saturday 19th October 2024 in X30 Senior, this video is from later in the day when the rain stopped and the track was drying - it was the last session on wets. I am still running a Synergy chassis, with Iame X30 Engine tuned by Litchfield Engines, and was out practicing with my MDL team mate James Harris (89 in the video). In this session I was the fastest of the X30 drivers on track (obviously the 2 OK drivers were quicker).

First day of practice, and we had 12mm of rain, so the track was pretty wet, air temperature about 7 degrees and a slight wind. I was on wet tyres all day, and this is one of the last sessions of that day. Running my Praga Fighter and Junior X30, taking full advantage of being able to run on this normally dry circuit.

So is the practical part of the ARKS just driving for 15 minutes? Instructor just watches from the side to make sure you can actually drive?

Umm read the questions twice and practice your flags and the safety of racing on flags you must get 100% on flags and I think at least 8 on the safety
