      I believe any rock tumbler you buy should have directions as to how to put the pieces together such as the lid and the band rings and how to do maintenance and when. Do you have this same rock tumbler? If so I give a few tips in the video on how to get it going and keep the barrel from skipping on the rollers and how to open/close the lid properly.

      @NikkiPeaTherapy 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have had a Leegol electric tumbler that I have been using for over a year. It is a double barrel and it has been wonderful! I wonder if issues come along from the type of oil used. I use only cleanzoil brand, an oil specifically for hand guns and weapons. I previously used a few other oils but with them I got a lot of jumping and hangouts from the barrels. Once I started using gun oil all has changed. Hopefully you still have your leegol tumbler and you can get gun oil to try it!!

      @NikkiPeaTherapy 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello! Thank you for your comment! I do not use any books for learning the tumbling process, I do however watch others videos right here on TH-cam. I am providing a link below for Shannon’s tumbling playlist from her channel. Tumbling playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLQF5VvgJv9WgZTVXKWJI_wjRuVEwfhRbe.html&si=LKTBxVXFufl7ZLoV Shannon’s channel: youtube.com/@ReikiGemWellness?si=Gp85ONkppRWPELMA I also use google sometimes for identifying stones but that often does not pan out. The Book of Stones: Who They Are and What They Teach a.co/d/hhfXi21 This is a good book for you to check out. And I would look up stones in your area online just to see what is around if you are picking up stones around your home or any place. I live in Michigan so I’ve looked up what stones are in my area in the Great Lakes region online. That will help you a lot. I also buy stones from sellers and then I know exactly what I have when I purchase them. I will provide a link for gems by mail. gemsbymail.com/ I hope this helps! And good luck tumbling!! 💎💎

    I enjoyed watching this little series, mostly because it's such fun to see how different people's methods are. Like you, I prefer to fill my barrels up more than most folks seem to, but I've never considered filling them all the way up as you've done. I'm going to give that a try for the really soft stuff. One suggestion that you've probably already run across is that you might get a better finish if you ran your ceramic media through each grit (either along with your rocks or all on their own) such that their surfaces are the same smoothness as the target for each batch. Otherwise it seems they scratch (especially softer) rocks just like broken rocks do (as you noted). Also, I'm glad you found some actual polish (which 1200 isn't), it makes a big difference. Thanks for sharing your fun!

    • @NikkiPeaTherapy
      @NikkiPeaTherapy 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello! Thank you for your comment! I have ran my ceramic through along with my stones in other scenarios and they turned out great! The ceramic shines up real nice just like the stones, the first time I did it I chuckled at how pretty it was 😂

  • @angellawson1883
    @angellawson1883 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Hi! Ty for your video! Do you normally fill your barrels that full? Or just for the softer stones?

    • @NikkiPeaTherapy
      @NikkiPeaTherapy 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I definitely fill the barrel as full as possible in the later stages so the stones will bump around less. It would be a setback if they were to bang around too much and break pieces off. I have noticed it helps to fill it a little less in the beginning stages. The stones seem to start to smooth down quicker.

    I don’t know how no one has commented yet! I love how you break it down into keywords, setting up the deck, and showing an actual Lenormand card. Thank you 😊 Also, do sharpies smear on the bicycle cards? I have a great old deck I’d love to use. I’ve always been addicted to old card decks, they have such a great feel (and energy) to them.

    • @NikkiPeaTherapy
      @NikkiPeaTherapy 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you so much for the nice comment! I do use the finer point sharpies to make my own cards but I have to be careful to make sure they are dry or they will smear. Of course this only takes about 30 seconds and they’re dry. You can use colored pens too, I have before and they turned out just fine.

    You can add Vaseline to the track where the "L" shape connecting locks are. Top and bottom.I had to use oven mitts with grips on them to open and close mine. Be sure to push down while turning to open and close. Smooth like butter. Unfortunately, my lid cracked and liner split after only a few months. Not from the Vaseline but because the tumbler is crap.

    • @NikkiPeaTherapy
      @NikkiPeaTherapy 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes I agree about the tumbler being crap, unfortunately I ended up tossing it out before it had a chance to cause me any more problems. Thank you for the tip though!! Pretty crystal, I collect crystals. But my amethyst sure does not help with tinnitus. Its just a pretty rock. Yes looking at pretty rocks and things is calming. But this whole healing crystal thing is one of my pet peeves. If you believe in this stuff that's great just don't replace it with medical help if you are dealing with disorders.

    • @NikkiPeaTherapy
      @NikkiPeaTherapy ปีที่แล้ว

      I am a crystal practitioner. I use many techniques to help my clients with many things. I have had a success rate of about 80% of clients who have tinnitus. Of course they are seeing their regular medical doctor for things first. Crystal therapy is not a replacement so any who are doing healing and claim that are being false. It can help with the energetic portion for symptoms of many things. Good luck finding something else that will help!! 💙

      @@NikkiPeaTherapy Okay I am happy to hear that it is a secondary thing to help rather than replacement. :D If it helps those people that is good! What type of crystal could I wear in a necklace or keep in my pocket to help out with anxiety and depression?

    • @NikkiPeaTherapy
      @NikkiPeaTherapy ปีที่แล้ว

      Ok so there are a whole lot of crystals you can use to help with general anxiety/depression. ( Gaia stone, Blue Apatite, Blue Jade, Green Jasper, Pink Tourmaline, Mahogany Obsidian, Lepidocrocite among others… ) Uncovering the internal issues that have caused your anxiety/depression in the first place is key for permanent success. You need to find the roots of the problems and get through and release those stagnant energies from your field so you can rid of your anxiety/depression for good and all. Most times when we have these issues they stem from childhood. We were teased by other kids or told by parents or other authority fugues we aren’t good enough or won’t add up or can’t or never this or that. Words stick to kids like glue so easily. Super glue!! If we have that negativity towards success and being good enough we tell ourselves the same thing inside throughout our lives because as kids we are supposed to believe the adults in charge because they are our guidance. I’m not saying parents or adults are bad! We just don’t see how much of an affect our worlds can have on our youth internally. 💙
