People, do not do this to crystal glasses. It's fine to do it to plexi glass/vynil like on old DVDs but not crystal. Also, if you wash it off, don't soak it all in. You don't want your hinges to oxide. Just wash it gently missing any screws or hinges

Didn't work for me, so I had nothing to lose. Tried Barkeepers Friend and that worked. I then used the toothpaste to smooth out any possible scratches. Worked great!

I should have read the comments first. I followed the instructions and all it did was put super fine scratches or caused some kind of cloudiness to my once clear but scratched plastic over the glasses safety goggles. This made it worse! Don't do this!

To all of you that said don't do this? I deeply thank you! I'm not even gonna attempt it! I will buy the correct polish. I already have headlight polish, but it's rubbing compound. I need something even more delicate and gentle. Maybe even a car wax? I need to do some more research. I dropped my glasses on the cement sidewalk and it bounced leaving me with a few scratches right in my field of vision and it's bothering the crap out of me! 🤬
