I’m glad you found it helpful. Prices have come down a lot, but still definitely worth running. I’ve got each run down to about one and a half minutes. You can pull the entire second room with one pull, and burn then down pretty quickly with a DKs cleave abilities. I think Ive gotten as high as 3.5 million DPS on my damage meter. The trick is not getting knocked back by the larger troll looking mobs. Good luck!

It’s actually two different add-ons. One is called Loot Appraiser and the other is Auctionator. Auctionator will pull all current prices down from the AH, and the Loot Appraiser is what displays the prices.

The price has been bouncing around quite a bit. It wasn’t all that long ago that they were going for around 750 a piece. People seem to buy them at any price. A lot of undercutters though, which can tank prices pretty quickly. I’m sure they’ll rebound…

Hi, do you know what they were specifically doing? Queuing for a follower dungeon, clearing the first two room, and then leaving the instance would not be something that would get you banned. Clearing only some mobs in a dungeon and skipping bosses in RAIDs (so trash will respawn), has been going on since vanilla, so I think there's some context missing here.

I’m not aware of any proof of this. It doesn’t actually make sense that someone would get banned for playing the game the way it was designed to be played. There’s no exploits of any type being used to farm cloth in this way.

@trancer03 i tried it and didn't get banned. I don't know the person that got banned or if he really got banned. I was just saying that someone mentioned on Reddit that they got banned.

Are you running the entire instance, or killing some of the bosses? I only pull the first two rooms and then leave the instance. I just ran it over 20 times in just over 40 minutes, and I'm still not locked out. I've never been able to lock myself out.

You’ll have to spend knowledge points in the “Quality of Fabric” specialization tree of tailoring. Spending 15 points will give you the opportunity to gather quality level two fabrics and 30 points will raise that opportunity to level 3. Good luck! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Sell rate is slower that the skyclaw mount mats. Gnolan’s house special farming is hard to beat, but I still run this from time to time, and it all eventually sells. Good luck! Thanks for checking out the video.

It hasn't been nerfed, although cloth prices have come down. I'm still pulling 40K+ per hour, even with the lower prices. On my DK, it only take me two minutes to clear the first two rooms. I think 1:45 is my record. There isn't a limit on the number of times you can run this through group finder, so I'm running it 3x times the number of times your are in an hour though. I'm also getting all types of cloth, so you may need to invest some more knowledge points into tailoring. I recommending maxing out the base of quality fabrics and the base of textile treasures. Quality of fabric will increase the quality of the items that drop, and textile treasures will drastically increase the chance of getting cloth drops.

For some added context, I just ran it for 30 minutes straight. I probably could have squeezed one or two more runs in during that time, as I had to step away a couple of times, but here was my haul. 358 weavercloth, 87 weavercloth bolts, 20 duskweave, and 42 dawnweave, of which was a mixture of the three different quality types. I had just recently updated my auctionator prices, so prices should be pretty close to current prices, which came to just over 20K in 30 minutes.

Are you sure you're in the correct Dalaran? Make sure you're in Legion/Broken Isles and not Northrend. You're going to want that toy, as it's very useful. If that's not your issue, let me know, and I'll see if I can help figure out what's going on.

@@BlatantThrowAway she wasnt there when I used the dalaran hearthstone. I had to go to stormwind, then to mage tower portal to dalaran and go down the well. She was there, so it seems it wants you to follow the quest exactly as it says.

I always have, although I use keybindings for macros, silence, bubble, and things that require more of a quick response.

Yes. You’ll get random cloth drops from other activities, but to be able to farm cloth from humanoid type mobs, you have to have tailoring. Good luck!

Lol! Hopefully, you ended up with the portable mailbox. It’s definitely very useful. I didn’t even try to get that last achievement, as it seemed way too ridiculous.

No problem. Skinning, mining, and herbalism are excellent ways to make gold in the game. The best gold can be had farming older content, although there's going to be an excellent opportunity to stockpile a bunch of gold with the War Within expansion. I'm going to be attempting to hit the gold cap. We'll see how that goes.

Back up to 74 gold here. They might be worth another look. 74 gold a piece equals around 25K gold, and that was flying blindly. If you the coordinates that I posted in the comments of my video, you should be able to farm even quicker.

I've sold all of mine on the auction house. Prices have dropped quite a bit. They did rebound once, and I sold a bunch more not too long ago, but prices are likely pretty low these days.

Not always, but BOEs are typically purchased for transmogging. Pandaria Remix is full of opportunities to grab transmogs, so there’s probably a big part of the transmog crowd over there at the moment. I think transmogs are going to be account/class wide now, meaning a plate wearing can use cloth transmogs. If that’s the case, I would expect BOE demand to climb significantly. Don’t give up!

Nice catch. I’ll check later tonight to see if I run into the same thing. I know about them not being available, if you’ve used them to get the Sinrunner Blanchy Mount.

I don't think it's a level thing. I don't recall in which expansion, but I remember collecting them for a low level alliance quest. Do you have the Blanchy mount? If so, once you get that mount, you can't collect the oats any longer.

Yeah, this farm is a little old, and was hit pretty hard when I first released this video. The price has recovered at times on my server, making it worthwhile, but prices are pretty low at the moment.

If you’ve gotten the Blanchy mount, you’ll no longer be able to loot the oats. I used to run my own classic private server. It was my server, so I had GM level access, so I could run at insane speeds, insta kill everything, and add whatever items I wanted to my inventory. The version I was running had the Sword of a Thousand Truths, which is the sword from the World Warcraft episode of South Park. I legit solo’d Onyxia dual wielding that sword, which eventually drained all of her mama. It all got pretty boring, because I was the only one playing on it, but was a fun way to experience the game.

Definitely a possible contributing factor, although I’m pretty certain that spawn times have been dropped on all of the cata world bosses.

Hey Brock, thanks for checking out this video. I haven't run this one in a while, but I imagine this is still fun to run and a great way to add items to your transmog inventory. If there weren't any mobs in the spot showcased in this video, you'll want to visit Zidormi (chat bubble marks location on map) and switch to the Cataclysm timeline. The spot is a ghost town in the current timeline. Sorry, that was an important point I forgot to add to the video. By the way, like others have mentioned in the comments, run this on a rogue, and you can also pickpocket the mobs for a chance at one of the dice toys. I'm not sure what they're going for now, but I've sold all the various pairs in the past for decent gold. Good luck!

There's likely nothing better than the LFG daily quests. However, it literally takes minutes to run them, and in the case of the daily raid quest, you'll be sitting in queue, so this would be a great way to pass the time. The spot showcased in my previous video is far better than this one, especially considering you can sit AFK for 10 to 15 minutes at a time. The exact answer also depends upon what you're after and your current character abilities. Soloing raids is an excellent way to farm most things, but you're character has to have the upgrades to make that possible.

I'm not familiar with those tokens. Are they related to the heirloom items available? If so, looks like some sort of bones are required to obtain those items, which unfortunately only appear to drop from the last boss in the Siege of Orgrimmar. The mechanics required to get the dragon to drop require more than one person, so unfortunately, that raid is not soloable. I've tried. I also tried using the "Jump up the rocks trick", to skip the dragon, which appears to have been patched as well, as you end up trapped behind some invisible walls. I could solo the other raids at around the 100K thread count on my cloak. I wasn't really paying attention, so maybe even sooner. 1mill+ dps really helps in some of the fights.

Yeah, I've been thinking the same thing about the last two spots I've showcased in my videos, but they're both still working well. At the spot in this video, I've seen multi-boxers and people running full bots.

I've been using starter accounts/trial accounts to level alts a couple of different ways. It takes about 50 normal dungeon runs to level a new alt from level 10 to 70, which has taken between 3 and 4 hours. I've also been messing around with that AFK farm in my last video, where I use my starter account twink to kill the mobs, with my newb I'm leveling flying up above. It's a way to level completely AFK, which works fairly well.

Are you talking about the tinker gems you have equipped? Remember, if you're leveling a character, you may run into issues self-healing enough for this strat to work while AFK. Lower level characters typically have fewer tinker gem slots as well, so you're not able to stack enough tinker gems to do adequate damage, which also fuels leeching, which is what keeps you alive. It should work just fine if you're actually playing, as you'll have enough cooldowns to survive. As you level, the mobs will get easier to kill, at which point you can likely go AFK again without fear of dying. You can also use the starter account twink method, where you've got an overpowered level 20 character auto-killing the mobs, and then your character your leveling in group flying above you.

Yeah, the technology is getting pretty amazing. It has its good and bad days though. The AI engine goes off the rails sometimes and creates some way too passionate results. It's why I get so many "Sir, Yes Sir" type comments, because the guy sounds like he's barking orders out. I have to calm it down by prefixing things with stuff like "Calm ocean breeze creates a relaxing scene". It's pretty funny at times. Thanks for checking out the video!
