Really well produced, sang, and performed. Also having the two most biggest stars of Male & Female artists come together and make a masterpiece like Die With A Smile is truly amazing. However, This Song means; no matter what, I wanna be with that person, and never let them go. They bring such joy and Something special that I can just die with a smile. Also considering the Grammys do love Bruno Mars and how captivating of an artist he is truly, I won’t be shocked if it wins. Truly deserves! BIRDS OF A FEATHER: This song speaks so much volume. Just like Die With A Smile, no matter what I will love you till the day that I die. Also the person doesn’t realize how they make me feel and why, if only they knew and felt why. This song is truly about love. However, not just relationship wise. According to social media, the reaction of the song brought people together. Friendships, families, siblings, couples. Truly amazing, and proves how impactful this song is. ALBUM OF THE YEAR; • COWBOY CARTER - Beyoncé • THE RISE OF THE MIDWEST PRINCESS - Chappell Roan COWBOY CARTER: This whole album in terms of concept, was impactful. Beyonce took us back to the past and revisited history with this album. I truly believe with that impact, it will definitely have a huge chance to win, finally. THE RISE OF A MIDWEST PRINCESS: Chappell really brought something new to the table. Invented a new and modern version of pop music that was culturally moving. Her album was everywhere and because of the nuance it has a huge chance to win. SONG OF THE YEAR: • Die With A Smile - Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars • BIRDS OF A FEATHER - Billie Eilish Die With A Smile: considering this is a songwriters award, Die With A Smile still remains as my top pick. This was so well written lyrically. Just like my reasoning for why it would win record of the year, This song showcases; all I wanna do is be by your side because you make me happy. That truly is thriving. BIRDS OF A FEATHER: Just like my reasoning for record of the year, This song brought people together and the lyrics speak so much volume. I will love this person forevermore, they may not know why but i do, i will love them to the day that i die. That is such a powerful and impactful meaning. BEST NEW ARTIST: • Chappell Roan • Sabrina Carpenter CHAPPELL ROAN: She brought something new to pop music. Her musicality, her performances on stage, her storytelling, her lyricism, her visions are what truly defines a new artist. SABRINA CARPENTER: Not only did she have the three biggest songs of the year with ‘Espresso’ ‘Please Please Please’ & ‘Taste’ but had one of the fastest streaming albums of the year AND the most talked about artist of the year. I always knew she had this in her, I knew she would someday be popular. I was here from the very beginning of her music career in 2014 with her debut song ‘can’t blame a girl for trying’ and to see where she is today is truly golden. Sabrina is truly a visionary, and has a mind of a mastermind. She is what a new artist is all about.
