I was raised catholic in Germany and I really don't believe that men and women can be best friends in a purely platonic sense (except if they are both homosexual or high up in age). Exactly because there is barely any reason to not be in some kind of a relationship if you understand each other so well. A genuine friendship with love, similiar interests and outlooks on life and anything in it, is the perfect foundation for a long-lasting relationship. But I'd like to get some opinions on that!

Hello, i like your message about repenting. Here is an inspirational scripture. Ezekiel 18 21 “But if the wicked person turns from all the sin he has committed and observes all my statutes and does what is just and right, he will surely live; he will not die. 22 None of the sins he has committed will be held against him; because of the righteousness he has done, he will live. But let's be honest. We can't just repent and expect the world to get better. We need to be out there helping those in need like God wants us to. We need to contribute to make this world a better place. Isaiah 1 17- Learn to do what is right. Promote justice. Give the oppressed reason to celebrate. Take up the cause of the orphan. Defend the rights of the widow. Isaiah 58 7- I want you to share your food with the hungry and to provide shelter for homeless, oppressed people. When you see someone naked, clothe them! Don’t turn your back on your own flesh and blood. Isaiah 32 17- Fairness will produce peace and result in lasting security. Take care of yourself and eachother. ❤

But i sinned again today. I got tempted agin today. I know i shouldn't but i still did it. I feel like im just fooling my self and taking advantage of lord's grace becaus ei known better and know what i shouldn't do but i still do it. I then trully repent then sin again thrn repent again and try not to get tempted again then sin again.....then repeat...and repeat...and repeat.... . Im starting to think or more on like i think im just being a fake Christian because my faith for the lord isn't strong enough to trully stop myself. I think im a fake and just pretending that i love my lord because i couldn't even make myself stop getting tempted again. I was going smoothly for few weeks then baam temptation again..then next time i couldn't even last week. Then i repent and stop myself but then i couldn't even last for 2 days, until i finally think that im just pretending to be a good child of God becaus ehow could i just set aside my lords love at the moment i got tempted again. My faith isn't strong

What a catholic priest once told me did quite impress me. He said that praying isn't too much about following a script but more like having a talk with god. He also said to not try and explain things with religion but see the bible more like a book of "father's advice" for daily life. That man was the most peaceful human being i have ever encountered
