I think live series is more useful than ever. Captain cards and supercharged means they always have value and never expire like sets and seasons.

LS Collections has always been like this... if you put in the effort you can complete it pretty fast. Im nms and already done with the NL and working through the AL. If anything the collections are much more useful this year than ever with the sets system, Sure rn you can buy the WBC cards or whatever cheaper diamonds you prefer but the second those cards dont become useful now you gotta find new cards to replace them. The Collections rewards are core meaning you'll always be able to use Sosa, McGuire, etc. Personally that makes those cards more valuable because with out that then sure i'd agree but having 3 pretty good cards obtainable by grinding that are a lock to be useful the whole year versus cards that are useful for a few months are definitely a fair grind
