This was a traditional hotrod show held at Don Garlits' Museum of Drag Racing in Ocala, FL on Saturday, March 20, 2010. Over 300 cars were at the show on a nice Florida spring day.

This was a 1938 Ford 4-door sedan that was turned into a cool ratrod.

The steering box is a later model Chevy truck power box mounted outside the frame rail using a power steering conversion kit from CPP. The steering column from Borgeson connected to the box with U-joints and a DD shaft . Had to modify the original kit to minimize the bump-steer caused by the short drag link.
how did you relocate the gear box and steering column also what is your steering column out of??...Thanks
While the car is cool, I really hope your friend didn't ruin a perfectly good 38. That thing better have been rusted out and beyond repair before doing that to it. It's still a cool looking little rod, I just lean towards traditionals.
This car belongs to a friend of mine. It's been to many shows in both TN and Florida. I'm sure you saw it, if you did you wouldn't forget it!
