Do you do the tooth test on your pearls? some of them looked real to me ..... gently rub the pearl on the bite of your teeth, if its smooth they are fake if theres a slight gritty texture theyre more than likely real. You probably know this already but if you dont then its a good tip for you

It’s the same name as my channel. Anyway, the ring might be 18kEP which is electroplate. But you never know until you see the markings. Either way, it’s very lovely and people still love these rings.

Also, if they are nice glass pearls, they can get scratch when ppl rub them against their teeth. Just gently rub them together and you’ll know. 👍🏼 Hope that helps. As for amber, put it under a black light and if it Florence’s a green color, it’s Amber. Looks very promising to me. Amber does not feel like much. It’s not cold, so ppl often think it’s plastic. I hope you were able to double check that ring. Until you can get yourself a loupe, try a magnifying glass. 👍🏼 it really helps.

3:56 is a gorgeous vintage necklace on barrel clasp. Kind of like the stunning Japan pieces. 👍🏼 4:54 looks like real pearls and mother of pearl pieces. Rub the pearls together and if gritty, you’ll know. 8:17 why do you think it’s not garnet? Might be. The coloring is right. But again, not easy to tell through the camera. there’s a certain way to put cuff bracelets on that might help you. I show how in some of my videos. Btw, I’m sure you will soon realize how cool acrylic pieces are! I agree, your piece at 10:15 is very cool!! Glass pearls can be very valuable too. I’m excited for you as you learn about jewelry.
