We make two types of awnings and annexes for the Avan and travel in an Avan Cruiseliner ourselves as well as set up a display at the Caravan and Camping Shows we exhibit at. The Tebbs style Awning and Annexes are very easy to set up, they have been designed in Premium Quality Australian made 6oz canvas that is lighter that the traditional annex canvas, largely because a lot of Avan A Frame owners are retirees or woman travelling alone, so they have been designed to be easy to assemble and light weight to make them easier to manage, also, because they mount to the face of the van you have the option to setting up your van on arrival and then add the awning or annex the following day without having to pack the van down. Hi Vince Thanks so much for your feedback. 😊 We were fortunate enough to inherit this awesome set up from Des Tebbs, the guy who designed it, who has since retired. We sell many of these annexes to mature age couples and solo campers, largely because they are light weight and really easy to put up. When we set up for a trade show our female staff member puts this annex up while one of the guys puts up the full-size, off-road van, Roll Out Awning Annex.
