NASA Artemis 1 Launch With Apollo 13 Music
A cinematic video I put together featuring NASA's latest feat - the SLS rocket and the Artemis I launch. Here's to the next generation of space exploration!

"Help Me Obi-Wan Kenobi" - Original Scripted Version

This is the famous "Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi" scene from Star Wars (1977). During this scene in the movie, we see Obi-Wan and Luke talking about Luke's father, then Obi-Wan gives Luke his father's lightsaber and tells him about the Jedi and the Force, and then they finally watch R2-D2's message from the princess, concluding with Obi-Wan inviting Luke to come with him to Alderaan. I missed this launch at the time because I was studying medical science at the time 2022. But since I had to leave in 2024 for mental health, but I am so excited for Artemis 2 voyage to the Moon.
Anyone on the Red Crew or Red Squad you guys did excellent job saving the launch I enjoyed watching it go up and hope will see humans once again step foot on the moon again hopefully will be Americans

Having grown up during the time of Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, the STS, the ISS, I am so looking forward to humankind's return to the moon.
Missing Apollo 17 last words on the Moon: “We leave as we came and God-willing as we shall return, with peace and hope for all mankind” th-cam.com/users/shortsnXCzMlVe23g?si=A5BmW-YV-UzTguFQ
A year and a half later, watching this brings tears to my eyes

lol
I've watched the launch multiple times and that's the first time I noticed that thank you
Whoop whoop...hey moe hey moe...🦅
Imo this flows a lot better than the theatrical release. Supprised this never made it into any special editions
Great Video!!!!👍 Fantastic☺💪🇺🇸
I love how you didn't just show the livestream leading up to the launch. You gave us a trip through NASA's history, and then gave us the launch, all while listening to the most majestic music in thr world!! I also like how you synched up the SRB separation with the music!!
I feel like Artemis 1 was a perfect test flight. Not in the sense of execution but in the sense of so many things went wrong prior to lift off and the ground crews and controllers had to deal with, especially with a new NASA manned launch system for the first time in almost 50 years we got some more confident and experienced people now working on these birds. Can't wait to watch 2,3,4, and 5 roar off the pad
I keep coming back to this an it always makes me emotional. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again This is a beautiful video. The choice of clips, those that have been lost along the way, the pacing All beautifully
Bring tears to my eyes every time I hear the sound track. Wonderful video.
I enjoy watching this video I remember watching this live.
How does this not have more than 10k views ! This is awesome and well made !
,,,,I was at Artemis launch .. Incredibly loud and visually stunning . I like the apollo 13 soundtrack. I'm 67 years old. I've been bless to see apollo17,STS116 and now Artemis.
Can you do? STS 99 and STS 121 launches with Apollo 13 music
The solid rock boosters where not used since 2011
To see NASA and the ESA returning us to the moon fills my heart with excitement!
One of the best videos ever. It just makes me feel the absolute epicness of space exploration, the courage of mankind and the beauty of space.
I was there. I went through allllll the delays and scrubs. 3 trips to FL...over 3400 miles. This video captures perfectly all the adversity and anticipation. Brings tears to my eyes everytime! Well done! Thank you!
With the music this video chokes me up
As a lifelong SPACE CADET since I was in kindergarten when my late beloved mom got me interested in our space program and NASA beginning with PROJECT MERCURY because our early astronauts were of her generation. My love and support for NASA has never ever weakened! SO GO NASA AND GO ARTIMIS II!
One hell of a job, Bravo Zulu to you!
Perfect launch video. Good job bro. I hope you will create video like this in Artemis II.
Riedman Glover Koch and Hansen will start the beginning of a time where we will never stop going to the moon
Epic
Damn. This is so good.
Wow this video is so inspiring, so emotional. The words of President Kennedy, Wherner von Braun, Walter Cronkite. The images of Apollo 1, Challenger and Columbia crews. With the music from the movie Apollo 13 and those images so well synchronized. Congratulations on your video, impossible not to be moved to tears.
Hey @TheMuni777 Eddie M, is there a possibility i can get the video? I would like to show a few people i work with
Send them the link!
This video is everything i ever wanted. Truly a masterpiece. I came to tears at the moment of launch. The movie Apollo 13 inspired me to want to become a NASA engineer. Today, I can tell you, i have become a NASA engineer who worked on Artemis I. To see this video is beyond words for me. Eddie M, thank you for this video. When i was watching the launch at the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL, i was listening to this track 15 minutes before launch to see it perfectly synced up to the video made me cry heavily. Thank you.
Thank you
I’m about to finish my time in the US Navy. I hope to see you there!
I’m proud of you. I have a similar story and I’ve looked up at the stars and asked the big questions from the time I was a little girl…last year, I became a Boeing Engineer on the Wideband Goibal Satellite Program. To this day, as I walk the halls, I feel tears welling in my eyes. I can hardly believe I am doing the things I am doing…helping to plan orbital burns….just one of many things…watching this brings me to tears. If anyone reading this feels goosebumps or a welling of emotion at this video, then just know that STEM is for you. Don’t be afraid. Do it. ‘Not because it is easy, but because it is hard.’ It’s ok. You can do it. If I can, you can. As Feynman once said, he is just a normal person. What separated him was his passion and work ethic. I am 48 years old. It took my entire life to make my moment in the sun possible. I raised three beautiful children. YOU CAN DO IT!!
This is just fantastic! I've watched it at least a dozen times. Thank you! We Are Going!
Thank you! Yes we are!
it was incredible but if it had used the real videos of the separation of the boosters and the escape system it would have given a different touch
I agree. I did try looking for good quality footage of that but for some reason I couldn't so I just published it as is. Of course, after I did that I found some lol but oh well. Thanks for the feedback!
I am very interested in cosmonautics and the apollo program. I have always wanted to know the feeling when humanity first steps on the threshold of another world. I am extremely excited that we can experience it together again.
Great music Now we need the re-entry and landing music for when Artemis 1 lands
Amazing video, well done! 👍 I look forward to Orion's reentry video featuring James Horner's reentry track from Apollo 13 🙂
Or even better, an extended “director’s cut” version of this video including the reentry 👍🏻
😭😭😭
I am not crying, you are crying 😭
Great work!!
Beautiful...brought tears to my eyes ❤🇺🇲❤
Why is this not getting more views? Spam this video to friends and others. Bring back the desire for exploration!
Beautiful
