    This product sucks. After using it twice the felt started pealing off the side pieces and the yellow pad was coming apart. I contacted them and he said "oh, I'm very sorry, I'll get you out a new set". 2 months later, nothing. Terrible product and a lier!

    Looks cool but you know you are 100% not suppose to use wax on balls right? The wax builds up on the cloth as well as takes away natural spin transfer between balls. You can use a paste cleaner then need to use rubbing alcohol to remove anything from balls. It's actually right in the rule book.

    I would clean only the cue ball. If it is waxed you are way more likely to mis cue. Been there....done that. A Mr. Clean magic eraser cleans up a cue ball nicely. That's what I use to clean the whole set before polishing them.

    Using the wax, alcohol, and water in the same container seems odd. I know when that wax dries that pad won't be the same after the first time doing that. Seems like you need a separate container for each step. Right?......

    • @cleanbilliardballs
      @cleanbilliardballs 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's just a matter of rinsing out the container after every use. A 3rd container would definitely save time but to keep costs at minimum, 2 is all that is required.

    From what I see here it looks like a 6 inch pvc coupling with a floor sitting on the ring on the inside. All we need to do is find the right material to line the tub and put on the rubber disc. Maybe carpet?? Lamb's wool?? Help me out folks, I don't have a hundred bucks to buy his kit. I've been using Johnsons paste wax for floors and it seems to leave a more durable coating on the ball

  • @fastone371
    @fastone371 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    Using automotive wax on pool/billiard balls is really a bad idea. Your ball set will play far different than any other set of balls you play with. This will affect cue ball english, throw on cuts, cut induced spin, and etc... Aramith ball cleaner for example does not use silicon or Carnunuba, it is not a slippery finish when you finish cleaning your ball set.People should consider researching the info they share on the interweb so they are not sharing bad info as in this case.

    • @DaCake2
      @DaCake2 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, you seem to know a lot and I was hoping you could share with me the best way to clean your set? I have at aramith cleaner but I’m more concerned with how I actually clean them. Should I just use a microfiber towel and elbow grease, or is there a particular method? Also, do they need polished after or is it all in one? Thanks.

    • @fastone371
      @fastone371 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DaCake2 It depends on how rough your set is. If they are pretty nice you can get away with the Aramith Ball Cleaner and a microfiber towel. If the ball set is real dull and beat up looking you will need to start with Aramith Ball Restorer and then finish up with the Ball Cleaner. Doing them by hand can be a lot of work, I would probably only do a few a night maybe while watching TV or sitting outside. Before I got ball polisher I hated doing them by hand and all of my ball sets were new!!. Good luck.

    Yes, I did mix up the balls in the video but that wasn't intended. The spot was removed from the 14 though. I didn't pick up on that error until 3 weeks after the video was made. Just don't see a need to make another video since its just intended to show the 'process'.

    You noted to us that there was a spot on the ball and that it was not coming off by rubbing it. It was on the green striped 14 ball. However, after you ran the clean cycle you noted it was now clean but what you had in your hand and showed the camera was the orange striped 13 ball. So in the end, there was no evidence that something as significant as that spot you showed us would actually come off after running the cycle.

    This is the best system out there. I've seen others out there that you can make on your own for about $40 but you're just throwing your money away. The machines that pool halls use cost between $600 - $800 and don't work nearly as good. In my opinion, this is money well spent. I love mine and use it all the time. I have 2 sets of pool balls that are over 10 years old but look & play like brand new 'out of the box' pool balls. It's really helped my game.

    @ashnut I saw that on utube also. The reason I like this one so much is it is a cleaner and polisher. Everything else out there, including the expensive pool hall machines, just polish over dirty balls. Some scuff marks require alot of elbow grease to remove and this system provides that for me. If your machine is lacking this capability, I highly recommend the system I use. I have yet to see any machine that works as good. Thanks for your positive input.
