I think the movie will do bad not because of the actress just because it's a remake of an old classic. Just like when disney make villain movies make them turn into good guys.

It is the same Zira and Cornelius. They created a new timeline that sets up a different future for the apes in human relations (the next two movies explore that). That was the point it was a chance to change it to a world where humans and apes can live in cohabitation peacefully which didn't exist in Cornelius and Zira's time.
