I think Ghana honestly is a place every South African must visit in West Africa. And Kenya, DRC and Ethiopia for East Africa. But this is just my humble opinion.

We pay 45% income tax to the South African government, and we rightly expect the government to use that money to take care of us, via grants to the poor, infrastructure, etc. Those expectations are well founded.

What is that based on? Can someone provide stats? Immigration is not traveling. Not going to west Africa does not equal not traveling. We do go to East africa and Southern africa because we enjoy those places. When people feel comfortable with a place, they will go there.

We travel my guy, but for leisure and experience. Most south africans go to bali, zanzibar, Mauritius, seychelles and mostly to southern african countries, specifically mozambique, eswatini, namibia, lesotho and botswana. Also she is correct, we have everything this side, so when we go out for these experiences, we look for things that are not in south africa. I think the main issue with africa is that they are not marketing themselves. Like if I put m travel hat on, which country besides the ones i mentioned would i go to here in africa and why? Ghana and kenya are the only ones that come to mind for me, the rest not really, and the only reason why ghana comes to mind is because of the festival they have that I would love to go to, which by the way last year was cancelled out of the blue cause there was a mini riot in another event a week before, which just deflated me from ever even planning to go to the country itself. So africa needs to market itself cause we do not immigrate we tour.

Interesting video, brilliant. But I think associating Ghanaians with words like "Fake, Dishonest, Pretentious, Hateful, etc." is unfortunate and Mr. Host should have educated our sister here. I am married to a Southern African and she couldn't stand the Ghanaian culture and referred to us as "wicked people" but had no evidence to back her claim. People operate at different energy frequencies and the fact that yours doesn't resonance with the other doesn't make them bad. It makes them different! In my opinion, the level of tolerance Ghanaians have is over and above the understanding of most African cultures. Naturally, Ghanaians are able to separate a person from their behaviours so even though we may hate a persons behaviours we able to tolerate the person until our tolerance level has been exhausted. If one decides to cross cultures, they should also be ready for the challenges and understand those new cultures before branding an entire group of people as Fake and Dishonest just because they are not like you. That's very childish to me.

To our @josephoppong7203 A country permanently on one IMF bail-out or the other since 1957 because it is permanently bankrupt don't need hostile actors to bring it down because it's already brought itself down and only the permanently delusional citizens of that country think they are something special or they can ever be "number one in Africa" in anything.
