MC Outfitters was established as a tribute to the late Mark Courtney. He instilled my passion for fishing, hunting, work, and overall life in general. Now I find it my responsibility to share that passion with as many people as possible during my time on this Earth. We offer every thing you can imagine out of Mary Walker Marina in Gautier, MS from bluewater fishing for tuna and swordfish all the way to flounder gigging and trout fishing. We even go diving/spearfishing! MONSTER African Pompano and King Mackerel Take Over the Tuna Grounds
The yellowfin disappeared for two days but there was plenty of action looking for them. We catch a bunch of African Pompano and King Mackerel on jigs, and then I give a tour of the Go Shay House that we have available for rent at the marina!

What model saragoosa he use to catch tuna
That is a 14000 with 50lb braid and 80lb fluorocarbon leader. Penn Carnage rod. Absolute battle wagon of a set up. I caught a wahoo on the same exact jig the next day.
When I watched you put your glove on I could not for the life of me understand why. When you reached down I almost had a stroke, I never want to be the person to judge anyone on social media but brother please, please, I have witnesssd 2 seperate guys that have put their hands down and one lost his finger. One was with a jig, he didn’t want the king but wanted his jig back. Whe went down with players and the fish shook an assist hook loose, it caught my buddy in the meat below his thumb and the king bit half his pinky off. This happened literally in less than a half a second. I’m telling you, fish have a way of perfectly getting fisherman. It’s a balance thing I believe. I am not gonna tell you anything, all I ask is that you think twice and just get the gaff, deal with some blood on the deck and keep your hands clear.
I like using my dehookers my dad made out of some stainless bent wire. Best device ever once you learn how to use them. Haven't touch a fish in a while.

Not sure if you mentioned it or not but anytime you think two fish are crossed up you should immediately put the two rod tips together and on most cases you can get it sorted quickly. Apologies if you mentioned it.

1st ahi ...... well that's a good way to burn your fish! Bleed them thourally out Gill and gut , and rod te spine from the head all the way to the tail. You guys are charter sport fishing looks like but still you want sashimi quality ahi. I commercial fished off the big island of Hawaii where I'm born and raised, and I targeted big yellowfin and big eye. Been doing it for 40 plus years and the Japanese came to Hawaii to work with me and other commercial fisherman on how to take care of big ahi and prevent burn and get the highest sashimi quality!!!¡ caught literally thousands of 100-300 lb ahis. I use rod and reel and handlines fish day and night for them. Yeah exciting man!!! We call over 200 lb ahi gorilla ahi in Hawaii. Right on guys!! Aloha from beautiful Hawaii D.L

I’ve been on a 40ft and it’s one bad ass boat. I am as equally impressed with this 33 mono. I’ll be in an invincible for the rest of my life

It was a large blacktip shark unfortunately that was released
@@GulfCoastGoogan I used to fish shark tournaments, and we'd cut off so many hooks, that I bought an Aftco dehooker. It's a 6' gaff handle, with a 1" stainless steel loop at the end, with an opening for the line. We rarely lost a rig after that.

lower unit only lasting 500 hours is terrible. There has to be a cause?
I fully agree! I lost both of them at the same time last year, so each one of them have the exact same hours on them when this one went. Starboard side is fine and still looks great. There was no signs of failure during the service before hand either. Hopefully it is warrantied by Yamaha and I have a spare soon

I believe it for sure. But hows the back afterwards lol. Here in California guys get pissed if your using light gear on a charter. The mindset is get your fish in so we can get back on the school! But hey im coming to Florida soon shot me your info. Your definitely a hooker from what i can see. Shit happens on the water but thats the sport!!

We were working some cut off rigs on some good bottom contour right on the edge of the shelf!

I got tools needed for Yamaha 350 to take apart lower unit if needed. I just had to replace a needle bearing in one of my engines.
I appreciate it! I am running 300's. The one that went down is getting sent off for warranty work as it was less than 600 hours old.
