Josiah: The great discovery
When he was 26 years old, after he had purified the land and the Temple, Josiah appointed officials to repair the Temple. While the repairs were being made, Hilkiah the high priest found a scroll containing the Book of the Law of the Lord that was written by Moses. Shaphan, the court secretary brought the scroll to the king and read it aloud to him. When the king heard what was written in the Law, he tore his clothes in despair. “The Lord’s great anger has been poured out on us because we and our ancestors have not obeyed the word of the Lord.” He ordered his officials, “Go to the Temple and speak to the Lord for me and for all the people. Inquire about the words written in the scroll that has been found.
Then King Josiah summoned all the elders and the people from the greatest to the least to the Temple. There the king read to them the entire Book of the Covenant that had been found. He pledged to obey the Lord by keeping all his commands, laws, and decrees with all his heart and soul. And he required everyone in Jerusalem and the people of Benjamin to make a similar pledge. The people of Jerusalem did so, renewing their covenant with God, the God of their ancestors. And throughout the rest of his lifetime, the people did not turn away from the Lord, the God of their ancestors.

Look at the nation Israel; are not those who eat the sacrifices sharers in the altar? What do I mean then? That a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything? No, but I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God; and I do not want you to become sharers in demons. (1 Cor. 10:18-20) The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, so as not to worship demons, and the idols of gold and of silver and of brass and of stone and of wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk (Rev. 9:20)

Just to add to the view that the animal sacrifices will be offered in a memorial sense: The sacrifices prescribed under the Old Covenant lacked the power to permanently remove sin; they merely provided temporary covering and foreshadowed the ultimate sacrifice to be made (Hebrews 10:1-4, 10). These sacrifices were never intended to secure salvation, as salvation has always been attained through faith in Christ. Even with the establishment of the church, Jewish believers continued to engage in the sacrificial rituals of Israel, as seen in Acts 21:26. For them, these sacrifices served as reminders of Christ's ultimate sacrifice.

The northern border should be at the Syrian cities of Hamat and Sadad, north of Lebanon. The southern boundary should be along the entire length of the bed of Wadi El Arish. Each tribe must receive an equal area of land, equal to the area of the land of the tribe of Levi, that is, the sum of the land for the Kohanim and for the Levites, 4,151 square kilometers. The location of the Temple is determined by measurements from chapter 48, 30 km south of Jerusalem: th-cam.com/video/mDuXS_9QkPY/w-d-xo.html

Daniel's last week of seven years will begin when the Antichrist brokers a Peace Agreement with the Jews and their Palestinian enemies in Daniel 9:27. In the middle of the Tribulation, after all of the Christians are martyred, the tribulation will escalate into the Great Tribulation of Matthew 24:20-22 of the Jews and the other 11 tribes of Israel. This is when the Antichrist will set up the Abomination that causes Desolation in Matthew 24:15 and Daniel 9:27. It is also when the Antichrist will mandate everyone to take his mark to buy and sell. The three-and-a-half years of Revelation 11, 12 and 13 occur during the last part of seven-year Tribulation.

@@vtaide I understand your concern as I used to believe that there were 1290 days between the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away and the time that the Abomination that makes it desolate is set up. Unfortunately, other scriptures did not line up to support this view. The Bible is a great chronological puzzle to say the least. The timeline of biblical events must pass the test of all related scripture. If you read Daniel 12:11 carefully using the King James Version, you will see that this is a compound statement. This: And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Daniel 12:11 KJV Can be read as: And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. And from the time that the abomination that maketh desolate is set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Daniel 12:11 KJV And not: And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away UNTIL the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Daniel 12:11 KJV Times, a time and half a time, 1260 days and 42 months are bible codes for the last 3 1/2 years of the seven-year Tribulation. Many prophetic events happen at this time including the Great Tribulation, Jacob's trouble, cessation of the daily sacrifice, the Abomination that causes Desolation, the mark of the beast, the worship of the image of the beast, the war in heaven, Satan and his angles cast down to earth, the war against the Jews in Jerusalem... This is a major milestone when the war between God and Satan escalates to the extreme level. God encodes and seals the timing of these events from the casual reader but He reveals it to those who would search the Scriptures. In Matthew 24:3-8, Jesus tells His disciples what events will happen during the first half of the Tribulation before He returns, which Christ calls, the beginning of sorrows. Then, in Matthew 24:9-14, Jesus lists for His disciples the events that will take place in the Great Tribulation. This will be when the Antichrist breaks the peace agreement, wars against the Jews and kills the Jews. The Tribulation begins when the Antichrist brokers a Peace Agreement with the Jews and their Palestinian enemies for 7 years. The Great Tribulation begins when the Antichrist breaks the peace treaty in the middle of the Tribulation and sets up the Abomination that causes Desolation. Next, in Matthew 24:15-28, Jesus backtracks to the middle of the Tribulation and fills in the details of the great Tribulation, which span a 3 1/2 year period starting with the Abomination that causes Desolation in Daniel 9:27. Finally, in Matthew 24:29-31, Christ lays out the events of His return to rapture the remnant of the selected 144,000, not the Church, immediately AFTER the Tribulation, of those days. The Great Tribulation lasts for 1260 days. But Daniel 12:12 lists an extra 75 days totalling 1335 days. The significance of these 75 days in Judaism is that on any given calendar year there are always 75 days from the end of Tabernacles to Hanukkah. Hanukkah commemorates when Antiochus Epiphanies desecrated the holy Temple in Jerusalem with a pig on the alter. When the Jews regained control of the Temple, they purified it, which began Hanukkah - a prophecy that Christ will fulfill when He returns. One month after Jesus ends the Tribulation at the battle at Armageddon, the Temple will still be defiled by the Antichrist's Abomination of Desolation statue and there will be no sacrifices (Dan. 12:11). 75 days after Christ ends the Tribulation at Armageddon: 1. The carnage from the war will be cleaned up, 2. The destruction of the land and the Sea by the Vial Plagues will be healed, 3. The Abomination that causes Desolation will be destroyed - 45 days earlier, 4. The Temple will be purified in fulfillment of Hanukkah, 5. The sacrifices will resume, 6. Christ will rule in the Temple over all the nations, 7. And the Jews who last up to that time will rule with Jesus (Dan. 12:12). It doesn't make sense for the Abomination that causes Desolation to be set up and for people to worship it a month after Christ comes back to end the 7-year Tribulation and judge the False Prophet who is the Antichrist (Rev. 19:20). The symbolism for "the flood" that comes out of the dragons mouth (Revelation 12:15) is likely a parallel passage to Isaiah 59:19 (the enemy shall come in like a flood).. indicating that this "flood" is all of the many temptations and deceptive tactics to get the "woman" (elect/bride of Christ) who is FASTING in the wilderness to fall away from the living God along with the rest of the church.

Question: Rev 22:5 says that we will reign but who do we reign over? My answer: Initially, the subjects of the millennial kingdom will be the living Jews and Gentiles who are alive after the battle of Armageddon and who will enter the millennium in their mortal bodies. Subsequently, the subjects will include babies born and children raised in the millennial earth and their descendants will populate the earth (Isa. 65:23).

Question: "How can there be living people on earth after the battle of Armageddon?" My answer: Rev. 19:21 states that the rest (of the armies of the Beast and the kings of the earth) were slain with the sword. Then what happen to those who are not part of the armies ... the non-combatants? I believe they enter the millennial kingdom in their physical bodies. Questions for thought: (1) If no one is (physically) alive after the battle of Armageddon, then who did Satan deceive after his release from the abyss after a 1,000 years? (2) Who are the nations of the earth in Rev. 20:8?

The following question was posed, "Is there a gate for Gentile believers ... as the12 gates are for the tribes of Israel?" My answer: Rev. 21:12 states that the gates are named after the 12 tribes of Israel, NOT that they are for Israel only. Those who can enter are only those whose names are written in the Book of Life (Rev. 21:27). In other words, all believers can enter the New Jerusalem.

This question was posed to me. "Alan, you mentioned several judgments ... so how many times did Jesus come?" My answer: Christ will come back (physically to earth) only ONCE as laid out in Rev. 19:11-16 (c.f., Zech. 14:3-4). (1) At the Rapture, the Church ... both dead and living believers ... will meet Christ in the air (1 Thess. 4:17). In other words, Christ will not come physically on earth. After the Rapture, there will be a judgment seat of Christ taking place in heaven (2 Cor. 5:10 and 1 Cor. 3:12-15). (2) At His second coming (the only ONCE coming mentioned above), there will be a judgment of the living on earth (those alive after Armageddon) ... (a) the living Jews (Ezek. 20:34-38) and (b) the living Gentiles (Matt. 25:31-46). (3) After the Millennial Kingdom (Christ is already on earth and ruling for 1,000 years), the unbelieving dead will be resurrected and judged at the Great White Throne judgment (Rev. 20:11-15).

After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.” (Rev. 4:1) Two possible meanings of “after these things” (1) Related to the actual receiving of visions … that is, John received the visions in Rev. 4-22 after he received the messages to the churches in Rev. 2-3. (2) Related to how the events will actually take place … that is, the events spoken of in Rev. 4-22 will take place after the present time, the church age. Note that the FIRST "after these things" in Rev. 4:1 was spoken by John while the SECOND "after these things" was spoken by Jesus. I believe that John's words have the first meaning above while Jesus' words have the second meaning.

The following question was posed to me ... "Is it possible for the THEN believers who go through the 7-year (or so) Tribulation to unknowingly take the mark of the beast?" My response: If it is possible then we would have a situation where there will be people with the mark of the Beast but do NOT worship the Beast. But Rev. 14:9 seems to equate taking the mark of the Beast with worshipping the Beast. To put it simply, taking the mark of the Beast = worshipping the Beast. Therefore the situation (of unknowingly taking the mark) is not possible. It will be a deliberate decision to take the mark of the Beast to signify one's loyalty to (worship of) the Beast.

The Beast is a National symbol For the Kingdom or State that rules the world after Roman Empire. The First Beast coming out of The Sea (Rev 13:1) It means The Beast just walks on the land. Looked like leopard, bear and lion (Rev 13:2). European Kingdoms after Roman Empire from Anglo Sexon to UK used this Beast as Nasional Symbol. (E.g, Royal Arm of England Symbol) The Second Beast coming out of the earth (Rev 13:11) It means The Beast can Fly like a bird. The Second Continental Congress selected the Bald Eagle as the U. S. National Symbol on June 20, 1782. It had two horns like a lamb (Rev 13:11) = short-lived two-party system alternately sovereign. Causing fire to come down from heaven (Rev 13:13) = Atomic Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. USA always enforces military service when in a state of war. The United States abolished the military service in 1975, but all male citizens aged 18-25 are required to register with the US Selective Service System to facilitate reinstatement if necessary. They could not buy or sell unless they had the mark (Rev 13:17) = Money is a tool for buying and selling. The Mark of The Beast is on Banknotes/Bill, especially on $1 prints of 1935. 666 in Roman Numerals = DCLXVI Out of Many, One = E Pluribus Unum. We can find out in The Great Seal of The US.
