Please note, people ate meat every day and were fit and healthy , unlike all the fat people today.
The old timber cutters were carnivores who did horrendous amounts of work with just a roo meat sandwich for lunch . . with a bit of damper & treacle . . sunlight did the rest
Man, you don't see many jarrah trees that size now
Pretty cool. I just hope that this timber will still be available to craftsmen in the future. Although recycled jarrah is clearly still a useful timber
Reading the description and seeing Kalgoorlie mentioned is interesting 😂 Some gorgeous timbers, but not big and far between. But Salmon Gum is one of my favs. And Gimlet
Aren't they ripper timber.
Amazing, not much on the east coast would have equaled the size, and board feet of these. Reminds me of the Kauri forrests in Waipoua up top on NZ, which are even bigger but as tall. These tough old blokes too.
This video is beautiful. I have been looking for videos from the valley of the giants. Spectacular 👍
