I really loved this live version. He was really into the song emotionally. Very talented songwriter and singer. I can hear his dad's voice in some of his songs. And a prolific songwriter like Todd Snider and Elvis Costello. Unfortunately many of these talents experience so many trials, heartbreak and challenges in life.

Conor’s solo shit has always been solid. Mystic valley stole my heart but upside down mountain broke it and rebuilt it.

He is the best American songwriter of the last 30 years. Hard to express how much I love his music. I have gotten to see him and Bright Eyes live 27 times. I’m 42 and his music has been with me since I was a 15 yr old junior in high school. As a songwriter he’s in there with Paul Simon and Tom Waits. Just a few steps behind Bob Dylan

THIS is the SHINS I always loved the midway solo from 'mines not a high horse'.... It sounds reminecent of an 'Echo and the bunnyman' solo, the guitar sounds that they would get.
