Although this was so beautifully written (copy edited or ghost written?), how it was written was actually distracting to the incredily profound experience of an NDE. I felt like I had to listen to it twice to get to the meat, the heart of the most important parts of the experience.

I got about halfway through this and stopped listening. I will not listen to any hogwash about having sympathy, empathy, or any other kind of compassion towards those who commit heinous acts of evil. As someone who suffered through a very difficult upbringing, both in the home, and in my personal life, and does somebody who's struggling through some serious life difficulties right now, there's no excuse for any of these heinous acts of violence. Anger? Of course. Acting out? Absolutely. Even violence to some degree? Understandable. Horrendous acts of murder cannot be justified by being victimized. You always have a choice.
