Hi Shannon! Your discussion on 'Un-Scaling' this year is incredibly insightful. The financial tips you share are invaluable, and I believe enhancing your channel's SEO could help even more small business owners benefit from your expertise. By using the right keywords and tags, your videos could rank higher in search results, attracting a wider audience and increasing engagement. Excellent advice. Social media is inundated with "Tax Strategist" and many of these advisors are giving very bad advice. It is refreshing to hear someone question if there is even a need for a strategist.
Do you have time? I have something important to discuss with you about your channel.

Great video. So many good points, in particular that not all the tax on traditional will be paid at your top bracket like it is with a Roth with taxes paid up front. I would add to that with a traditional 401k you will pay the tax on RMDs over many years with dollars worth much less than today’s dollars. In fact you are probably not going to ever pay tax on the entire balance (although your heirs ultimately will). I maxed out my 401k for many years. I was in the 35% fed and 5% state tax rate for the majority of the time and a Roth 401k was not offered so there was no decision to be made. Now I am retired and looking into Roth conversions but I may move to Florida which has no state income tax so I am holding off this year as I see where that ends up. I have a pension and dividend income that after standard deduction and HSA puts me at the top of the 12% bracket. Any conversion will cause the dividends to become taxable which means on a $100k conversion I will pay 30% combined tax ($22k fed, $5k state, $3k Dividends). Thus I have decided not to convert this year.

Hi, TH-cam just recommended your video and this topic and the insights you shared on tax savings has really resonated with me, personal encouragement is something I talk about in my channel a lot and I'm sure this young entrepreneurs needs to achieving success, looking forward to seeing you again, liked and subscribed
How about the fact that total return looks different in Traditional vs Roth given traditional has more capital since pretax dollars were invested? Vs the return on Roth post tax dollars do not get taxed.
If someone is maxing out their traditional 401k for major part of their life 35/45 years, invest in index funds, also get employer match (which is traditional), and then try to do Roth conversions for 13 or so years 60-73 age then they will have to pay substantial income taxes during those 13 years and eventually might have to pay the taxes for all the period of before and during RMD period. Because employer contributions and sometimes even pensions bonus incentives can go in 401k so that is a balance approach one should take and put their contribution in Roth 401k.
thank you for having me on Shannon!

I've just found your channel and omg how come you have such few subscribers? Your content is so valuable to small business owners like me ❤️ Thank you for doing it! 🤗
This was an incredibly helpful episode, especially the point about lowering barriers to getting the marketing done.
Interesting show. Really rings true. I'm curious about how to use this information in the next chapter of my life. I was perimenopausal, but now it seems like menopause is finally here. I wonder how business decisions, etc are affected at this phase of life and what season this fall into. Winter perhaps? I will say that the perimenopausal stage was NOT a good time to make big, life-changing decisions, however, now that my hormones aren't up and down like they were, I feel more confident. I feel like this is a good time to try new things, explore changes in my career, etc. Interesting stuff! Love your podcast. Thank you for all that you do.
The 15:22 minute mark 🤣😂
Why you do her like that with that thumbnail picture?
Thank you ladies✨
