Wild Ireland
Ireland
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 12 มิ.ย. 2019
Wild Ireland is a unique animal sanctuary set in an ancient temperate rainforest on the Inishowen peninsula, right on the Wild Atlantic way.
The Forest is inhabited by animals that were once native to Ireland before being hunted to extinction by man. For the first time in thousands of years, they’re back!
Walk among the ancient trees and encounter Bears, Wolves, Lynx and Wild Boar on your journey through the past.
Just a few centuries ago, Ireland was clothed in a thick blanket of Temperate Rainforest. Due to destruction and deforestation, this woodland has all but disappeared and with it, many of the animals that once called Ireland home.
Many of our animals have been rescued from illegal and cruel backgrounds. They have now found sanctuary here at Wild Ireland.
We have recreated the animal’s native habitats and they live as natural lives as possible in human care.
.

We have huge plans for 2024 and we cannot wait to welcome...

I thought we were going to see a live deer getting mauled to death by the wolves in this video
Fabulous
❤ love the wolf 🐺 my children.
How many lynx do we have in Ireland now in wild Ireland?
The lynx appears to be tame, which would make one think it's not a great idea to put it back into the wild. Edit: Also, was it really released into the wild or just into an outdoor enclosure?
If I ever go to Ireland, I am absolutely stopping by this place!
Bus drive takes a whiles but it be worth the adventure to see the next yellow stone park of ireland.
This was very cute.
This issue seems far more important than giving a 10 minute talk to.
Good work by all involved.
So glad I can catch this again!
Merry Christmas Wild Ireland!
Nollaig Shona Dhaoibh!
Well, this went better than the previous interview, but still not good.
This was an excellent talk. Edit : By Killian, Clare really came across as not knowing what she was talking about.
Wow, there's so many new animals at the park now!
You guys are on my bucket list of places to visit
If only ireland wasn't greedy and over hunted in the time of the wolves cause they kept the ecosystem in check. I hope Ireland's National Park introduces them again 🙏🏻
We visited Wild Ireland on Monday 4th November and had the best day. I have seen and filmed a lot of places in Ireland and beyond, Wild Ireland is in the top five locations. Absolutely wonderful! Wild Ireland is not to be missed. Best wishes from the Belfast Castlereagh hills.
We're here in Cayman, making notes on the video so Cullen can do a presentation on Wild Ireland in school tomorrow! We visited in 2022
They have taken it down😔
Why are these adult monkeys so overweight?
Too much farmland and not enough room for them. They'd overpopulate and tear shit up so bad its so muddy out there
Is that raccoon is going to be alright
Bring back the wolf!!!! ❤❤❤❤🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺
0:48 mum Sandy grinning and baring her teeth at her baby to tell it not to try and snatch her food. Baby doesn't seem to care, so mum just stuffs the whole thing in her mouth. 🤣
Hi killian im oisin i got a selfie with you remember me?
So when do you think that we will return the wolf back into the Irish wilderness?
Someone's having fun in the snow lol
Thus stuff about the fiannna us abszolúte lies and garbage …. Ireland have none
Baloney Ireland no boer ..,, cone to Hungary : thousands if them
I think that it would take a change in behavior from deer, sheep farmers AND nature enthusiasts alike. Bringing the wolf back and just leaving them alone is irresponsible, if only because of population dynamics. Populations of prey and predator will initially be out of whack (few wolves, lots of roe deer) and will start to fluctuate. These waves will only dampen over time. This means that there will inevitably come times that there are lots of hungry wolves but few roe deer left. That is a dangerous inbalance caused by Homo sapiens that should be MANAGED by our invasive species. Leaving them alone will not do. And culling will have to part of the management tools to guide the system to a more stationary state as quickly as possible.
So cute
A big thank you to Wild Ireland and also the Old Irish Goat Society for not replying to my questions. Anyhoo, I now have my own Old Irish Goats.
we Need To Bring The wolves Back into Ireland who will Stand with Me
I think that wolves should be In Ireland
usually called humbugs delightful
Wolves are beautiful animals. I hope one day wolves can be reintroduce into the wild, in Ireland. I grew up with the red riding hood type fables. But as an adult do appreciate that those are just stories that misrepresent wolves. I live in the uk. On my father's side, there is irish, Scottish and Welsh plus a bit of English ancestry. I live in Wales, at the moment. I spent my cnildhood and most of my adult life in England. I moved to Wales, almost 8 years ago, to be closer to my ancestral roots ( on my father's side ). If i win the lotto, i want to create an animal sanctuary. Primarily for cats and dogs. Wishing you, the wolves and all the other animals at Wild Ireland, all the best ❤❤❤
And bears
How wonderful ❤️ that your ate kepping these majestic animals alive and well inthis crazy mix up world we live in, keep up your important work. Much luvs for all your efforts. ❤🎉😮😊
