I liked your point. But I don't agree with it. Here's why: There is no exit on the other side. Simple as that. Unless you just go into the resto on the other side and then leave after. If you want to go shopping you pass the security booth on way in, then on way out, you need to scan your receipt to leave. The security booth has loads of cameras. The last store here closed down due to the amount of thefts. Believe it or not, morrisons security have it all sewn up nicely. Kirkby not like the bad ole days of the wild west anymore.

@@JCAUDITS I agree with your point - I would add that these systems/gates are easily beatable. If I scan my receipt i can still put stuff in a bag. Nothing beats a watchful eye on checkouts. Not all checkout staff are on switched on. A security podium locked away from visual communication with checkout staff leaves you vulnerable to people just walking out with stuff.
