Hello,there is no way to reduce,unless you negotiate with them,on the other hand as a first time buyer,the bank can cover some portion of the transfer costs for you if you qualify,please ask the bond originator assisting you to assist you with that

Hi Lindiwe,it's depends on mandate you have signed and also it has expired or not....if you have signed a sole mandate then you can only list with other agents if it has expired....however it's an open mandate or a dual then you can list with other agents.....however listing with a lot of agents is not that good coz it shows that you are very desperate and then buyers will drop the price...at most I only advise to list with a max. Of 2 agents in the other one that already listed is not performing as you would like them to...in case you need more information or clarity send me a text on 074 888 2640

@Katlego,this a very good question....the contract is legally binding for both buyer and seller...however depending on the contract and what it says they are circumstances that seller can get away with canceling the contract without a penalty,for example if Buyer doesn't fulfill some of his contractual obligations as described on the contract or if maybe the seller files for bankruptcy then the sale process can't continue...there are other examples also like if the buyer gets declined by the bank,he will loose all the money he paid...I hope this answers all your questions
