Non-Surgical Rotator Cuff Tear Treatment with Stem Cell Injection
Did it work?
Dear Dr Markle. Is there some oportunity for misunderstanding AVN with some other diagnose like transient osteoporosis? I made MRI scan and was diagnosed with AVN. I have no pains feel much better using only NSAIL, vitamins and anticoagulant and walking on crutches. I am not a doctor but I analyzed a lot of MRI images with AVN diagnose. On my MRI there was diffusione edema, but no well defined area or lesion with wave structure or so called geographical line with two borders (black and white). No macrofocal and subchondral defects, also CT scan was ok with spherical form of both femoral heads preserved, which was reason for cancelling the CD core decompression. I hope to make another MRI with better resolution 1,5T or 3T and pray. Best Regards.
I am three weeks after ATFL surgery . Im hoping all it went well and will give my feedback after 6weeks
Dr i have pudendal nerve pain since 6 months , nothing is worked with me, i will try RF next week, whats your opinion for the surgery ? Is it that worth ???
I developed Baxter's Entrapment after standing for a long time in very tight boots. I'm also an ex runner, age 69 and worked, standing on my feet, for 40 years. I have very high arches. I got incredibly strong paresthesia (like neuropathy) in both feet that lasted for 5 months. I treated it with rest (I'm retired), nightly splint, hot foot baths, castor oil rubs for inflammation, stretching, orthotics and acupuncture. I had plantar fasciitis in one foot 5 years ago. The irony is that my podiatrist didn't know why I had paresthesia, blamed it on my diet, thinking it was neuropathy. I had to learn about this thanks to TH-cam. I'm entering my 6th month and it's almost gone. No meds, no surgery.
what stem cells did you use? and how much?
Does it work for bone spurs on top of the foot
I have tendonitis on my left outside ankle wondering if stem cell therapy or PRP will help your advice would be greatly appreciated thank you
I was diagnosed with avascular necrosis 3 years ago, my Rheumatologist gave me 3 doses of Alendronic Acid which helped with the pain but once the dose is finished the pain comes back. And my GP told me Alendronic Acid has a bad side effects on the kidneys. Next appointment im gonna ask my doctor about the bone marrow injection option, who knows, it could be the magic solution, hopefully.
I have stage 4 AVN. I'm a 65 year old women, and I am on disability. Would I qualify for any of the treatments? My Orthopedic Surgeon wanted to do them on me, but I can't afford it. Insurance doesn't cover it.
Where are you located?
Does it work for ankle impingement from bone spurs?
Eat wild salmon too, most people are consuming far too much omega 6 in the form of mitotoxic seed oils and far too little omega 3.
Has anyone had prolotherapy for this?
Great information, and well presented! Do you offer pudendal nerve decompression? There are various kinds of diagnostic pudendal nerve blocks, and I know that, in theory, only more distal parts of the nerve are numbed by a block. I also know that even the blocks at the ischial spine aren't easy to do. Ive had 4 and 2 missed. Knowing the various locations on the nerve where blocks can be done would REALLY help PN patients to isolate exactly where the nerve is being irritated. Knowing that would be of tremendous help in deciding on treatment options - especially for surgical approach selection for decompression surgery. Can you please list the different potential locations for blocks and what each block is called, so we know what to ask for?
My son suffered a peroneal nerve injury due to open book pelvic fracture three months ago. Praying his nerve regenerates and he can walk again eventually! He's working really hard. I purchased R-ALA and he's taking that daily. I will look into the others mentioned. He already takes a multivitamin as well. I wonder why the hospital does not start giving some of these things IMMEDIATELY that stop apoptosis when someone comes in with a nerve injury?
Can it help in regeneration of spinal cord injury?
Thanks for a very informative video, I developed PN years ago from a bad fall while backcountry skiing and I was lucky that it went away after awhile (it was misdiagnosed as peripheral neuropathy). I recently developed PN again while taking Cipro for a bout of UTI. When I first felt the sensation of pain in the right side of my groin I went online to research side effects of Cipro and found lots of reliable sites that simply said "do not take Cipro if you have ever had nerve issues. I'm wondering if you're familiar with this side effect and also if nerve damage from Cipro presents a different challenge for treatment.
Wow! Never heard that!
What do you make of the claims that B6 can cause peripheral neuropathy?
Hello, My daughter is an elite level gymnastics with constant and ongoing ankle injuries, we’ve looked into everything with no solutions. Stem cell an option? I thought the U.S. does not authorize Stem Cell? Thank you
I have first stage of AVN on both hips. No collapse. Doc sugested core decompresion with steam cells. How much cd procedure is good? I read so many failures about CD and people end on THR on end.
sorry to hear but yes, CD by itself can be very poor results but doing a bone marrow concentrate injection with or without CD is very beneficial .... finding a doc that specializes in ortho-biologics is ideal or surgeon that does a minimially invasive CD (smallest needle possible) and can inject bone marrow concentrate into the lesion is key!
@@dr.markleregenerativeortho9552 thanks for answer. I will wisit doc tomorrow. He was talking about some risks but I need to ask him lot. Here in Croatia I for CD precedure I will wait about two years in state hospital. Same doc in private clinic cost a lot but if made failure I will not have money for better HIP with ceramic. On my left I newer had pain but got geografical sign and all white. On right just black bone oedima on top. Now almost without pain. Walking, ecercise and use peptides bpc. I need to think about CD. Dont want to do more damage. Thanks.
@@dr.markleregenerativeortho9552 Thanks on your advice. Here are new developments. In state hospital for CD I need to waith about two years. Same doc in private clinic if I pay can do precedure fast. For money no need to wait. But in my home town I have one doc who is doing biological therapy. He offer me CD with bone narrow. I said about comunication with you and advice with smallest neadle possible. He said we will provide all and do it here. You dont need to wait. First one leg and rest then other. It is surprise and it want cost a nothing. On right hip I got just black oedima on top of femur head. Almost no pain. I am on bpc 157. On left white bone but geographical sign. Need to decite.
Hello mr doctor, I have avascular necrosis in my bilateral femoral head, bilateral knee, foot , hand (lunatum bone) shoulder and ... i use cortisone, what can i do. I am writing you from turkey. May be? Can you help me pls. Thank you very much for video
sorry to hear but the chronic prednisone is likely causing the multi-focal AVN throughout your body.... we can treat these but finding a way to come off prednisone is key for longterm success
What is the best type of stem cell for nerve regeneration/ ankle issues? I had surgery for ligament repair 2 years ago and its still not right. This is a 7 year injury. Willing to travel internationally.
Is that surgical tool common throughout the US?
I’ve been having pain outside of my ankle I was wondering. Work because I don’t really want to get surgery done because I could be out of work for eight weeks I’ve been dealing with this pain since August
Concerned that the narrator thinks GLA is a lipoic acid rather than a fatty acid.
how to increase blood supply to area and how to delay progression.
ACUPUNCTURE IS THE BEST
How is Acupuncture the best? Not judging just wondering.
@@adrianalfaro4828 it is the only therapy what takes a physical tool and releases tension within a muscle fiber. massage and chiro have their benefits but acupuncture is felt immedietly. It also, produces an electric signal that benefits your nervouse system/brain communicates with many systems in your body. That is why it can treat such a wide variety of ailments. If you decide to go, go to a licensed acupuncturist L.Ac. they have a masters degree in this specialized field. doctors, PT, chiros DO NOT have a degree in the field of acupunncture. Some of them simply took a class in acupuncture. Someone who just took a class, is not qualified and they don't know what they are doing. I have heard terrible stories from people who are not qualified who try and do acupuncture.
if a man gets numb when riding a bike; here's some help - STOP RIDING THE FREAKIN BIKE!
As a person suffering terribly from this I can tell you that ATLAS orthogonic Chiropractics helps many a d is covered by 8nsurNce but there are those of us who need prlotherapy or prolozone therapy also.Surgery only does more harm then good
Hi Dr. Markle, Can I see you through Video consultation? Currently I live in outside of USA for work. I would appreciate your help and guidance. Mine one happened due to inappropriate Kegel combined with prolonged siting and lower abdomen exercise (sit up).
Theses greedy idiots are not telling you is this very expensive and not covered by insurance.,
Would this work for the auditory nerve?

You look young but u know your stuff
Who performs core decrompression surgery of the knee? An orthopedic or someone else?
So is this most often caused by a spur, or by a thickened plantar fascia? I ask because I want to know if shockwave is a good option for me. If it’s thickened soft tissue, it’ll work, if it’s a spur, it won’t, since the shockwave can realign ligament tissue but not break down bone. Thanks
Hi..did you ever find any answer or did you get any relief. I’m going through this now and looking at best treatment options.
@@barbthompson3717 It wasn’t baxters entrapment. And it usually isn’t. The soft tissue around the nerve is the problem, not the nerve itself. I had a torn plantar fascia with a lot of swelling. When the swelling went away the pain stopped. Could be a scar tissue problem also. Try nerve hydrodissection if your doctor thinks that is the case.
@@crispycruiser4654 thanks for your reply. Can I ask what treatment options worked for you. I’ve a 7mm spur which they are considering surgery to remove, along with releasing the plantar fascia tissue. They believe the spur is the factor to the nerve pain. (Interestingly though I’ve just read your reply) so will look at this. Prior to going down the surgery route I was considering laser treatment to try and reduce inflammation in the PF. I’ve tried shockwave and didn’t have any pain relief.
@@barbthompson3717I associate lots of neuropathy with Baxter’s. I had plantar before with zero neuropathy. Now I have bilateral with mostly neuropathy that has been slowly subsiding as I heal.
Is it possible that pudental nerve lies under left sitbone not over it? I have all symptoms after sitting (especially after sitting on bicycle saddle) or stretching this areas. But in my case I can feel this nerve just under skin below left buttock.
Would stem cell therapy work for a sports hernia (common adductor tendon & rectus abdominus grade II partial tears)?
Yes but would probably try PRP before stemcells for sports hernia - muscle and muscle-tendon junctions are easy to heal as long as not a large defect
All this treatment is excessive. PN is TMS and should be addressed using a mind-body approach. PN surgery is butchery.
Hello Doc. I suffer from bilateral plantar fasciitis. I have pain on both Abductor Hallucis muscles and discomfort that can be annoying. On the other hand, I have been taking Gabapentin for a short time. My question to her is, I got the injury by standing and walking barefoot for hours only on hard floors. Can the nerves, like the Baxter nerve, also be compressed too much by it? And does a Bacter neuropathy with the Abductor Hallucis pain go away by itself with the healing of plantar fasciitis? I would be pleased to receive an answer. Greetings from Germany, Thomas.
It depends what’s causing it. If it’s caused by a thickened plantar fascia or hypertrophic (swollen) muscle, then shockwave therapy can reduce inflammation and take pressure off the nerve. If it’s caused by a heel spur, none of these things can break down bone. In that case surgery would be required
@@crispycruiser4654 It is Not Caused by a heelspur .
I’m dealing with the same thing but after 4 months of intensive therapy at home I am almost over it. I worked standing up in very tight shoes for only one day and started it . I’ve had very little heel pain but lots of neuropathy and arch and ankle pain. I stopped working and walking for excercise, take hot baths every morning, sleep with a splint, get acupuncture and massage castor oil into my soles once a day.
Wouldn't a digital motion x-ray find more issues, or work out better than a simple cervical flexion x-ray?
Are any of these modalities that you perform covered by Medicare?
Could you redo the cheat sheet with contrasting colors - white on light beige is really hard to see and read. Maybe white on dark blue or black, or black on white like a printed page. Or a link to a text or pdf list. Just because it looks pretty doesn’t make it useful or useable.
I gave this video a dislike as the sound had a great deal of clicks, gaps, uming and ering and other noises that could easily have been removed with an hour or so of editing. The speaker is not shown so the normal excuse of not wanting to create jump-cuts does not apply.
What about polio induced nerve destruction? Got something for that? I can get minimal muscle development, and then it all collapses into days of real fiscomfort.
I have extreme ankle clicking from lots of injuries no pain but annoying would stem cells help
Yes - you likely have partially torn ligaments around the ankle - prp or stem cell prob would be good option for that
can you link us to clinical studies on PRP injections healing ankle ligament tears?
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9817145/ pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31640921/ www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S1268773118301401
@@dr.markleregenerativeortho9552 Ok so two of those links are the exact same study. The two studies that are there show that PRP was helpful initially but then at 6 months the results are identical between the PRP group and the non PRP group. I am very interested in the potential of things like PRP and stem cell therapy etc, but we should make sure we don't overstate the evidence. Would you agree?
Thanks for your information it was useful and wonderful, 18 months ago I got inversion during a football match however I did an X-Ray but it didn't show anything and the doctor told me that it is not serious go and rest for a few days then slowly start your exercises again after rest I have done after rest when I started doing sport pain started again until it became worse. I have referred back to doctor he told me to do MRI and the following is the result of MRI: 1. Subchondral fracture of dome of talus bone with associated surrounding moderate edema. 2. Mild free fluid in tibiotalar joint space. 3. Sprain of anterior tibiotalar ligament. since that time i have used different medicines under treatment of doctors the front pain is solved but still pain suffers me from the right side and back of ankle some them of doctors say that there is no need for surgery it will be ok in the feature but some says that it wouldn't be back to its normal situation and also no chances of surgical operation. And one thing to be mentioned that there is no instability of ankle I can walk even run but after the muscles becomes starts its pain looking forward for your kind instructions.
It's improving?? Or same as before?
Thank U 4 sharing this important information Dr.Markle...people will need all the help they can get after a traumatic injury.
