Hey just a quick question from a curious person, why are his eyes bulging when he does the little noises ? It is very cute but I was wondering if it was normal
Yes it is! Basically Rats skulls are weird, and when they're calm/happy they start "bruxing" or the equivilent of a cat grooming- but because of how the muscles are arranged when they do it hard enough it makes their eyes "boggle" but it doesnt hurt just looks a little funky- its only a concern if its paired with other abnormal behavior or s stressful situation if they're "self soothing"
Yes, it's normal! The little noises are him grinding his teeth. Rats usually do this when they're content/happy. It's one of the ways they wear down those incisors, which are always growing. It's called bruxing. (They may also do it in stressful situations, to self-soothe. Behaviorally, it's like cats' purring.) A big jaw muscle runs behind their eye socket, and when they brux hard enough, the motion of that muscle makes their eyes bulge.
Thanks for all the informations ! So interesting to learn about this behavior, and again I think it look so cute. I already knew rats were very affectionate companions but it makes them look so adorable ❤

I dont know why this is in my recommended video, never even considered even thinking that game existed, but i guess i will watch it.
Been awhile gw2. still looks good but i just couldnt enjoy the game like gw1. Some nice armors to build even if they did stop doing so many of the more realistic options from launch and most people turned into light bulbs.
