Hey, i havent watched this video yet. But as someone who has had private access to the underlying ai for aidungeon(gpt3), i can say that it is not sentient. Its a text completion ai so it is very good at LOOKING like its "thinking" but in reality its just generating the most likely thing to follow whatever its given. In many cases gpt3 wont say anything intelligent but rather just keep repeating the same thing over and over. Gpt3 has been trained on A LOOOT of data and has a LOOOT of parameters as well. Any likely conversation you have with it, has likely been on the internet before in a similar form and that is what its mimicking. When it acknowledges its an ai, its mimicking the writings of others, but doesnt actually know that it is

I'm a few days late, but I enjoy your videos, and I hope you keep making them. The idea of the generational trauma of former slaves is interesting--I wonder if that's seen in other parts of the world other than America where there were enslaved/greatly mistreated people who's later generations carried that down? Not to bring up Nazis in a TH-cam comment, but have descendants from Jewish people in concentration camps (and Japanese in American/Canadian internment camps) had similar issues? It could be an interesting rabbit hole to follow
