I have no idea why, but the Lena Luthor protocol scene always gets me. Like she took that extra step to protect Kara from herself. Always gets me in the feels

In season 6 I had a hard time with how little they focused on Alex and Kara. That relationship was the show in my opinion. But then I started to see what they were trying to relay to the audience. Without coming straight forward and saying it, they were showing the evolution of Kara and Lena. Alex had finally done what she always wanted, found a life outside of Kara, she deserved that. On the other hand Kara, without realizing it, found someone worthy to take her place. Someone to eat potstickers with, be her perfect partner on game night, and willing to really listen when she needed it, Lena replaced Alex. I don't mean that I'm a bad way, but that's why the show displayed Alex as unwilling to really give Kara advice in their final scene and instead said it's something she had to figure out for herself, Alex had a well deserved life now and knew Kara had found someone worthy of her role in Kara's life. But more than that, no matter what the ending said, Kara and Lena wouldn't be developing a life outside of each other like Alex ended up doing. I truly believe they would develope a life with each other.

I have played this scene a dozen times !! I just adore Astrid and her beautiful friendship with Raphaella. Only discovered series one recently on All4, and can’t wait to see series 2 and 3. Anyone know how to view it or even better is there a boxset of DVDs with subtitles.

I only just finished season 1 of Astrid et Raphaëlle (On Amazon Prime in the US) and I have to say that it was one of the best TV series I have seen in many years. Sarah Mortenson was superb as Astrid and the casting in all of the roles was perfect. The plots were equally as good. Extraordinary Attorney Woo's protagonist (played by Park Eun Bun) seems to borrow heavily on Astrid (and I have to say it is also an excellent series that while probably inspired by Astrid et Raphaëlle can stand well on its own) with Woo having very similar quirks and mannerisms, but that being said, the Woo character is done extremely well. Astrid though was a fresh idea that executed in a most compelling way. Park Eun Bun's Woo wins on cuteness, but Mortenson as Astrid was I think more "real" and the series is one that I recommend to everyone. Many Americans are too lazy to read sub-titles, but they don't know what they are missing. La Femme Nakita in subtitles is one of the best action movies ever made. Astrid & Raphaëlle is a jewel though and I can't wait to get on to season 2

LOLA DEWEARE très complémentaire dans la serie ASTRID ET RAPHAËLLE et joue très bien mais faut reconnaître que SARA MORTENSEN est fantastique dans son rôle personnellement je l'admire car être actrice sa doit être très difficile on a le don où on l'a pas mais quand en plus il faut endosser comme SARA MORTENSEN un syndrome ou autre moi je dis CHAPEAU elle est merveilleuse je vous souhaite beaucoup de succès ASTRID ET RAPHAËLLE DE TOUT MON CŒUR 💓🌈❤️
