hey.. sorry to anwser so late^^. Switzerland belongs to the expensive countries on this planet. So... if your budget is small u might try with couchsurfing or other pilots. There are ways to travel this county cheap if you dont want to stay in Hotels and eat in Restaurants all time

Hi Martin. In Engelberg u will find the easiest launch (Brunni) and it comes with the possibility to fly down to the valley. Pilatus has a S-SW launch at the hotel on top which is a bit tricky. In late afternoon there is an easy launch to W (thermic) but it comes together wit a 15min walk downhill (launch u see in the clip, called Klimsen (at the chapel)). Still its one of the most impressing top-to-bottom cause u fly over Lucerne. Spectacular!;)

Looks brilliant! I'm coming to Lucerne from England with my brother in June (probably 22nd) and would like to bring my lightweight wing over. He doesn't fly so I'd just like to do a top-to-bottom whilst he rides down on the train or cablecar. Which would be the easiest hill to use - Pilatus, Rigi, Engelberg? I would appreciate your advice. @JanPBtest Hi, Its a contourHD. It comes with a 135° Angle at the time i bought it. In between they sell a wideangle up to 170° as well. The thing is, that the most people use the GoPro with the 170° angle witch gives the strog fisheye, but it would be adjusable to 137° as well and has even 1080p then. Pilatus roxx^^ i could overtop it just a month ago. Have fun and happy landing!

What camera/lens did you use? I noticed most paragliders on YT use GoProHD which is nice but its lens has a very pronounced fish-eye effect. OTOH your video is equally wide-angle but _completely rectilinear_ - what was it? BTW, I was on Pilatus last April, rode those cute red cars :-)

und den wellenberg erkennt man gut von oben, wenn ich mich nicht täusche...
