ive never played this game, but it's always interesting to watch

Remember, it's never worth not submitting a photo for a Pokemon. Especially this early on, when you're not 100% on the different photos and their points, there will be plenty of times you think "oh, I didn't get a better photo" and then the game surprises you, since you didn't know about bonus points for a different pose, or you undervalue the points from extra pokemon in the photo, other bonus points the game gives, etc.

Haha, getting photobombed by that Emolga is like a rite of passage in this game. Always a good laugh to see it happen on someone's first run! The levels are nice and long though, and the variety in settings and Pokemon is really nice. Love how they make everything feel so vibrant and alive in the Snap games, even in some of the more traditionally darker/gloomier settings.

Keep in mind that the stars are tied to actions happening or specific circumstances, not how good the photo is. Love this game so much, will have to go watch your full playthrough.

I enjoyed the game while it was out picked it up recently to run into the picnic glitch where it’s all invisible. Honestly I was highly disappointed that Nintendo never patched it :/ and most glitches. I enjoyed the game overall aside from that xD one of my favorites and so much luck with shineys in it xD Hopefully they don’t do use dirty again with the new stuff cuz I honestly don’t see poke fans get mad often (over glitches and issues scarlet and violet suffered) however if it occurs again I don’t think the fan base will be as forgiving and maybe they’ll do something (the company)

Vivilion this gen is stupid because all of them are the sort you'd find in Iberia and if you want anything else you need to evolve it in Go and transfer it over. Oh god if you think Yungoos looks like Trump you should see its evolution. It's SUPPOSED to be a film noir detective but it sure don't look like it!

I have to say I rather like the idea of Director Clavell with a German accent "See-you-dad" is how you would pronounce Ciudad. So the show would be "see-you-dad-ventures". It's a pun using both Spanish and English. Or maybe not a pun but a portmanteau idk. I like the squirrel but I can never remember how to spell its name because it uses a very irregular spelling (bear in mind English is my only language). I like the evolution though and it has the perfectly spellable name of Greedent. Greed plus "dent" for tooth. The school is pronounced oova. It's Spanish for grape. Clavell is hella shady. Everyone was determining he had to be the villain from the second he was revealed. Is it the case? You'll have to see for yourself! I will say thay he ended up being my second favorite character from this game, but also know that I do run a Pokémon villains discord. Are these facts related? Am I intentionally trying to smokescreen you? Who knows! Play more and find out! I picked the fire starter! Named him Ancho. I like the sort of Bubble Bobble vibe it brings ti the table. "We have a mini-map" we sure do, and in the original release you couldnt pin it to north! You could pin the base map like you discovered, but not the mini-map. It took until the DLC update to do this (you don't need the DLC itself for it). I usually use my starters but BDSP is the only game where i didn't bring my starter to the endgame. Gondwana the Torterra just couldn't keep up with the rest of the party and i had Roserade to fill that niche anyway. Even if this is a player's first game, we clearly have a pet Skwovet and he would have seen that so his calling our starter our first pokémon is still weird. Nemona picking the weaker starter will make sense when you get to know her. What never gets explained is how WE live in a place like that since our mom seems to have no form of income. My personal headcanon is that she writes a lot of gardening books, but that's just me.
