This is the official TH-cam channel of the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad! At Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad (OCSR), we strive to EDUCATE about, PRESERVE, and RESTORE the history of logging railroading in the Pacific Northwest. We operate regularly scheduled steam and diesel powered excursion trains along the Tillamook Coast on the ex. Southern Pacific/Port of Tillamook Bay Railroad. On this channel, you will be able to find news about our upcoming excursions and offerings, plus behind the scenes looks at our restorations projects and operations.

Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad Candy Cane
Enjoy A Festive Holiday Experience Aboard the Candy Cane Express!
Take in the views of the beautiful Oregon coastline aboard the historic train at Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad! Beautifully decorated both inside and out, this steam-powered train ride is complete with complementary hot cocoa and cookies. Write letters to Santa while awaiting a visit from the man in the red suit himself! This round-trip excursion departs Garibaldi and runs to Rockaway Beach for a one hour round trip ride.
Seating Options
Passengers are required to select their seats in a specific car when booking tickets.
If you are booking your group on separate reservations, please ensure that your seats are in the same car and close together if you wish to all sit together. Use our seat map tool to find the best seats when booking!
Outdoor Cars
Covered Car - Outdoor that has a roof but no windows. A great way to be immersed in the scenery as you roll along!
Indoor Cars
Enclosed Cars - 1950’s Dining Cars with tables and chairs. These are fully enclosed with windows and a roof.
Historic Wilson River Car - 1920’s passenger car with cushioned seats. Fully enclosed with windows and a roof.
Neahkahnie Car - 1910 dining car. Has tables and chairs, and is fully enclosed with windows and a roof.

Indoor Cars
Adult (ages 13): $44
Child (ages 3-12): $33
Infant (ages 2 and under): Free!
Covered Outdoor Cars
Adult (ages 13): $35
Child (ages 3-12): $27
Infant (ages 2 and under): Free!
Wheelchair Accessibility
This train is wheelchair accessible via a portable wheelchair lift! Please call ahead if you will need the lift and plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the departure time so we can best assist you!
Note: Due to the historic nature of the cars, restrooms on board the train are not wheelchair accessible.
Dogs:
Dogs are allowed aboard the Candy Cane Express in our outdoor covered car! Only registered and task trained service animals are allowed in the indoor cars.
All tickets are round-trip. There is no layover in Rockaway Beach.

How about an update on the track work. Id noticed last time i was there youd added a switch across the road from the depo.
