In this video, I take a, MUCH NEEDED, hike through Boyd Hill Nature Preserve in St. Petersburg, FL. My mother and I both had an afternoon free so we decided to back a bag and meet up for a hike! The Trail had seen some changes after the passing of two hurricanes over the past few months, but still the calmness of the Boyd Hill habitat prospered.
I brought along my Fujifilm X-Pro 1 paired with a Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 lens to capture crisp and wide angles of the beautiful environment. I found myself seeing many new things through the viewfinder of the X-Pro 1 on this hike which led to photographing in a manner that produced deeply emotional work. This is why I saw fit to provide a raw and silent experience of this day on the trail.
