Dublin Bay Biosphere
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 30 มิ.ย. 2016
In 1981, UNESCO recognised the importance of Dublin Bay by designating North Bull Island as a Biosphere because of its rare and internationally important habitats and species of wildlife. To support sustainable development, UNESCO’s concept of a Biosphere has evolved to include not just areas of ecological value but also the areas around them and the communities that live and work within these areas. There have since been additional international and national designations, covering much of Dublin Bay, to ensure the protection of its water quality and biodiversity.

Thank you
Lovely , thanks for sharing that 🙏❤
Thanks to this video, my family abroad, can understand a little bit better, why I love Dublin so much. I live an hour far away walking from Bull Island and I visit it quite a lot
Really nice video. Very well edited and put together.
Mega yatch cult!:
Wonderful.
YEAH WONDERFUL
This is a wonderful resource for helping teachers, children and parents identify the plant, animal and insect species present on the island. I only became aware of this video from making contact with DCC. I will use it in my school and pass the link on to others. It would be really worth contacting local schools to make them aware. A video like this is so useful for pupils to watch and make note of bird's names etc in advance of any field trip taken . Stunning photography too. Well done to all involved.
heartwarming and intimate insights to Bull.....lets have more of this film maker!! A marker for Bull protection into future . Geritt van Gelderen would have been proud...Brendan Price M.biol.Inst Irl. CEO, Irish Seal Sanctuary
