There’s something about safe zones in survival video games that really lulls me into sleep. I imagine I’m in one of those makeshift rooftop UV encampments trying to catch some zzz’s while people are out there having their own adventures trying to stay alive against the zombies.

For a supposed multi decade on of the apocalypse existing there seems to be way too many ppl out wandering at night outside of safe zones. Seriously how is there a population at all if there is non stop ppl dying within earshot

These sounds are gone in the new update, I don't know if my game is bugged but there's almost no more night time ambience :( Or its because most of the safehouse have been opened meaning less people are dying

After all that tactical mayhem and stress, the resource collecting part came as a decompression in the final part of each mission. I remember reading a whole book while the collectors were doing their thing in the background. What an amazing game!

The top of the roof is so full of greenery, it represent relative safety while street just below is just hell.

I just pretend the fan in my room is a super luxury. I'm unbelievably rich. Because in the Dying Light universe, generator fuel is beyond priceless, and a cooling fan is a waste of valuable fuel that could run UV lights.....
