This channel provides instructional videos on how to use CoolSim software to build, analyze, and improve data center designs. CoolSIm is a CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) based software, andmodels the cooling and airflow of a data center environment. CoolSIm Output Report Overview
Understanding how to interpret CFD results is key to designing and implementing efficient data center designs. In this video we review the automated CoolSim Output Report that is presented after the successful completion of each CoolSim CFD simulation. Key parameters for efficient design are described and reviewed as well as some quick tips on how to share the information with others.

Kind of new in CFD, so just wondering in doing a report what plots and where to place them in the model and what are the only important section to show in CFD distribution plots
does hot aisle size affects pressure?
Hi Marck. Yes, it does. If the width of the hot aisle is not large enough, and the racks are densely populated, the pressure in the center of the hot aisle will rise considerably, causing leakage around the rack rails and back through the IT cabinet into the cold aisle. This is due to the change in momentum of the hot air as it turns 90 degrees to go up and out through the hot aisle exhaust plenum.
