God I remember putting up one of these when I was a kid. My dad got one and he used to take tow it with a trike to gigs and rally's.. We had that for yours till the panels worn out from over usage and he turned it into a trailer. And we got a tent one and that was absolutely terrible

Childhood memories. Family camping in the 80s/90s. We don't use it anymore, but it still exists. Since almost exactly a year i work for a company that owns camping sites. I work at the HQ, but have to visit the sites from time to time. I think i have to revive the Rapido :)

très bon souvenir avec cette caravane rapido aussi avec mes parents entre 1975 et 1985, de très bon moments passer avec, je l'adorait cette belle caravane facile a monter , très solide et étanche.

Kann man den auch alleine aufbauen? Ich überlege mir einen Confort zu kaufen

I'm considering buying one but I am worried I wouldn't be able to set up or take down by myself. Is it possible to do it alone? Thanks

It works but compared to other hard side designs like the Apache and Esterel they appear to be inferior in terms of ease of setup. Plus, I wonder how leak-proof they are/were. I spend a lot of times in the western plains and Rocky's of the USA and it's hard to imagine trying to set up one of these in a 30 MPH wind. And they, including the Apache and probably the Esterel, are not insulated. Here in the US, I think if someone manufactured a quality insulated hard-sided camper and sold it at a fair price they would sell like hotcakes. C'mon in and set up a shop to build and sell. Wait until Trump is gone though - he's a moron.
