Vielen Dank für die Arbeit. Es war ein toller Laden. War oft drin. 97 hatten die Ihre Flyer als CD! Das hatte niemand. Und die Sclangen vor der Tür und entlang des Gehweges neben der Straße... Es war eine schöne Musikzeit. Ich war vor einiger Zeit wieder mal da - der Ort hat immer noch was magisches.

Death trap. With all the electrical wiring including heat from the flood/incandescent lamps let alone cig smokers I'm amazed this place did not end up inferno before it was closed down.

Achherjeee. Damals 1997 extra aus der Schweiz angereist. Ein Disco Tempel in diese Grösse, mit so einer Anlage und Lichtshow war für meine Verhältnisse absolutes Mindblowing. Kann mich noch erinnern, als wärs gestern gewesen. An besagtem Abend legte auch noch Kai Tracid auf. Unvergessliches Erlebnis, auch noch 27 Jahre später (in meinen Erinnerungen).

Couple of observations. It's smaller than I thought it would be. I don't see really any seating or tables or ledges on the main floor. Did everyone just stand and hold their drinks? Where were the ashtrays? There was only one small bar in the whole club? All the drinks for the entire club were made from that one bar?

Disco and Studio 54 happened when the stars aligned. That was a magical, special time.

Yeah great Video you made, i just found it right now. I was lucky (and old enough) to be allowed entering the Studio in 1977 during a brithday trip from Germany to NYC. It's was just so amazing, something totally new, exhausting, totally free and nobody thought what's up tomorrow (sadly for some health). One of the greatest place i'd ever been and an experience never to be forgotten during my life

Great job here. But gotta say I'm super unimpressed with this club. From this layout, it seems that Pulsations in Glen Mills, PA put Studio to shame.

Man, it must have been fun in those days. Our generation didn’t have any fun, we had 9/11 and social media. Garbage times.

Bet it was very crowded there wall to wall people.

Dear Mr. Lees, when Sirius/XM launched their Studio 54 Radio Channel, they did a one night only, reopen/reunion to promote it. I thought I remember it being said the sound system (courtesy of Richard Long, RIP) was never removed from the space, same with some of the lighting. Do you know if that's accurate as of these days? I know the Roundabout Theater company now occupies the space. Thank you!
