Tom's journey - "We have come a long ways from zero to 2-3 thousand per week"
มุมมอง 663 หลายเดือนก่อน
Tom's journey from zero sales on the farm to $3000 in weekly sales in less than 6 months. I think the biggest thing that stuck out to me in this interview was when he said the reason he chose to join my coaching program was "the income potential and helping set the appointments". Tom saw the potential, took a leap of faith, and got the result he desired with our help. The best part is we aren't...

DIY Solar Powered Electric Fence Charger System
มุมมอง 1.4K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
After, using a number of different and expensive solar powered fence chargers, nothing would work. Even on the most expensive units the battery would die after a few days of cloudy weather. So I built my own electric fence energizer setup that is more powerful, has 2.1 times more battery life and duration, 3.3 times more power or joule output, and 3.3 times faster solar recharging rate than the...
Never farmed to $78,000 in sales in less than 6 months
มุมมอง 644 หลายเดือนก่อน
Check out this interview with my student Tom. He went from just a piece of land and zero experience farming to $78,000 in annual sales in less than 6 months. The best part is he could easily have 2-3 times that many sales but we had to slow down marketing as he is still scaling production. If you want to know how we helped Tom check out go.regenerativesuccess.net/vsl

We are going to move to this. But what size IBC is that? 275 or 330 that it holds an actual ton of feed? I saw a conversion that 275 only holds 1600, so assuming these are 330's? I see these as option but no one ever mentions the size of IBC they are using :D
This is a 330 gallon. It will hold anywhere between 1500 and 2000 pounds of feed depending on how tightly you pack it and how fine the feed is ground.
Very helpful, and so much thanks for all your help.
Absolutely! you did the hard work
The issue is getting hay that isn't sprayed, right?
I dont worry about that
Does the feed mold? If not, do u think the feed store pellet/molasses type feeds would mold?
Yes all feed molds eventually. Adding a tarp over the tank to keep the temperature consistent has helped.
Sure thing. One thing to keep in mind is offloading and storage at the processing facility. Many places will require you to offload your birds into their crates.
That is a great idea thank you!!!
Any time!
Thanks for the video. Does it get pretty warm inside the bucket with heat output from some of the components?
not at all, because there are no motors. Just electric battery and charger. it definately gets hotter in the bucket from the sunlight but it hasn't affected performance at all.
Thanks-I had recently seen a RICH solar charger with what looked like heat sink fins on the back of it-so had me wondering.
Awesome
Awesome storage tank
Awesome
Greatful
Jeff your program are really very important events
Thanks so much for posting this-very well explained and useful!
Thanks! What are you currently raising?
Love what you are doing!! Voraciously consuming your contact!
Thanks. What are you doing on your farm?
How do you get it to market to fill it?
They bring a truck and auger it in. But i have also put it on a trailer to bring to the mill
What size is your tote. It should take 45 cubic foot for ton of hog feed.
Its 330 gallon. It will hold 1200-1800 lbs of feed depending on how well you pack it and also if its a crumble or pellet.
Brother, why the fuck are you posting this? You think there's many chicken meat sellers scrolling through youtube shorts?
Awesome channel. Interesting knowledge you have. Found your farm while researching gmo. Would love a job to help at a place like yours. Willing to relocate.
thanks I am glad its been valuable

How many gallons is this tote?
330 gallons
Per usual, you're also not including the costs of things. The poultry netting start up kit from Premier One is almost $500 and each additional roll of fence is $187. That is just out of most people's range financially. Hence why we use the chicken tractors. You forget that you sure didn't start out with the poultry netting.
Yes the poultry netting and kit is expensive. However the equivalent cost for the same number of chicken tractors for 1000 birds would be significantly higher. I have done both and i love the netting system over tractors. But everyone has their preferences.
How do you get the feed out when its low? Does the feed get stuck on the sides/back?
I use a hoe or tip the tank
Baby birds, especially ducks, are the cutest things.
agreed
$15 for 50# of wheat?? Let me know where I can get that price.
Great idea, thank you!
From LinkedIn! Good video, Jeff ❤️👋
Howdy, what about for grown chickens? Any link on the particular lamp? Thank you

I just wanna know how you got the feed into the container? 🤔
Its augured in by the truck
@@farmerjeffsiewicki i wish you would have filmed that part. I don’t understand what you’re comment means. Seems like the hole on top would have to be made bigger. I’m guessing you put the grain in yourself?Anyway very Interesting way for large grain storage. I’m sure it will help someone. 😊
@@Christian-jx3nx We have feed delivered in bulk loose, 6 tons at a time in a semi-truck. The truck has a mechanical auger that pumps feed in through the hole at the top into the tank. You can also purchase electric augers or PTO driven augers that attach to a tractor.
@@farmerjeffsiewicki cool! Please film it for us ignorant people. I thought you drive to a grain mill and fill up bags, barrels or truck beds for bulk. Thanks for being patient
Heat lamps can catch FIRE just from stirred up DUST.
Sure i have heard of that happening before. Generally the bedding is so wet from the manure that its not a concern. I have been doing this setup for thousands of birds for 7 years and havent had a problem yet. Knock on wood
People can get hit by a car while walking down the street...
Thank you for your videos. I would like to see your feather plucker for geese and ducks. I would like to see how it differs from a chicken plucker.
We use the same plucker for chickens and ducks
Nooice! 😎 STOC
Thank you for sharing nice practical informative video, love to see the way you presented in this video. Stay blessed and live happily 😊😊😊
Great idea, how do you fill it?
Did you ever figure out how to fill it?
They usually have a cap on the top. It just unscrews.
Would this work with 3/4” cattle cubes
Yes.
I thought dogs can’t have chicken bones
You from Cleveland!?!
They can if they are raw or dehydrated
Very good idea! Will definitely use.
I'm sorry what are we feeding?
chicks

Hello ❤
I'm a 5th generation farmer in the corn belt and you are a completely ignorant moron....
nice design. you could paint the pvc with latex pain to give it some uv protection. Also, where we live the poultry netting would not be enough. Predators would tear right through it.
good idea with the paint. I also use hardware cloth in place of poultry netting. It is heavier but much more durable. Have you tried that?
But where is the rest of the context? This is just a review. On top of that?! Whom is paying for ducks or chickens at y’all’s prices?!?! Like wtf.
sure, we have thousands of customers.
@@farmerjeffsiewicki got a link to your products? As a chef I’m really curious how your selling ducks for what over 60$?! Per bird?
Genius.
