The frosted spray crack and fails easily with condensation. Im going to try the film next, and going to use some Kilz waterproof paint on the wood frame
I agree the paint sucks but the film peels off. It seems for my situation, the only solution is to replace the window
@@rexluger1940I’ve had the film from Home Depot on my window for over a year and it hadn’t peeled at all

Need advice: former owner of my home renovated master bath and put in waterfall shower...the bathroom has no ventilation due to the fact he covered the window with the tile. How do i get my window back. We haven't even lived there a year and already have a mold problem.
Well that does not sound great at all. There are only a few ways to get back your window. 1) Undo the work the previous owner did and install a new window. 2) You can install a high capacity vent fan to get rid of the moisture in the bathroom. 3) If your bathroom is upstairs or has roof access, you can install a skylight window on the roof. One of the new automatic pushbutton ones that opens to allow air into the bathroom. 4). Lastly, instead of causing a major renovation to the bathroom wall, you can install a small 1”x24” crank window near the top of the bathroom wall. This would allow for ventilation while reducing the possibility of having to retile or resurface your entire bathroom. Hope this helps.
@@darylbethelmy7431 it has a skylight and that's where some of the mold is growing. But it seems to be in other places to (ie the old shower stall). I was thinking at least cut tje window back out of the tile. But my fear is that there is water damage or mold behind the tile. I had thought of a venting window for at least temporary fix. Thank you.
