Feeding Two Toddlers: A Realistic Day of Meals | Vlog | #mom #vlog #toddlermeals #newyoutuber
Welcome to a day in the life of what I feed my 1- and 2-year-old! I try to keep things balanced, realistic, and generally pretty east. You’ll see everything my kids ate today-from breakfast to dinner-including a mix of homemade meals, quick snacks, and (spoiler alert) takeout for dinner because life happens and sometimes our dinner plans get derailed.
My goal is to balance their nutrition across the whole day instead of stressing about every single meal being “perfect.” Some meals are super simple, and that’s okay! This is real life, not Pinterest. 🙃
Here’s a quick breakdown of the day’s meals:
🍳 Breakfast: Muffins from a mix, bacon, and fresh fruit. No veg this meal - it's okay.
🍓 Snacks: granola bars, apples, and carrots
🥪 Lunch: leftover lasagna, cucumber, carrot, and peppers
🍲 Dinner: Takeout- we had a meltdown happening and I knew cooking wasn't going to be great. We ordered from a build your own bowl place (BiBiBop) so we can try to choose healthier options.
And of course, they had plenty of water throughout the day. It's not shown.
I hope this video inspires you to embrace the chaos and find balance in your own way. 💕 Let me know your go-to toddler meals in the comments below!

Thanks for sharing your meal ideas! It's tough feeding ourselves on a regular basis much less little ones!
Cooking 40% Protecting your child 110% Right Mom
Omg i used to have that stuck in my head for HOURSSSS back in middle school haahahah so crazy someone finally knows what that is , boil em mash em stick em in a stew 🧌
Recipe?
I always eat this straight out of the oven haha
Im glad you don’t show your kids on the internet, good mom right here !
taquitos❤🇲🇽
I'm so glad you blurred the kiddo. You're a good influence for others on here Also the food looks great!
I'm glad that all the comments are just wholesome things about setting healthy boundaries and not a horror story of everyone saying how much their parents abused them if they said something like that.
This is such a great idea! Will use this in the future 🫶🏻
I'm not seeing where you went wrong? Looks great
Thanks! They’re just kind of loose and quite a few broke open but I didn’t put them on screen 😅
flautas!!! They look so good!!!
when you fry them make sure to put a wooden toothpick through it so it can stay closed while frying. hope this helps💕
What I do is mix some of the chicken broth with flour to make a paste, and put it on the edge of the tortilla to make it stick. Works great!
You can also make Mexican rice with quinoa it’s sooo good❤
My kids love veggies and still want the whole thing instead of cute slices or sticks. And carrot sword fights are always a win
You know what, whatever gets your kids to eat is good enough.
I hated Brussels sprouts till I made them this way Fry the Brussels sprouts drain excess oil then toss them in the pan with Sweet and sour sauce (mae ploy) bacon. It is the best thing ever or you can even just fry them they taste kinda like broccoli when you fry them.
As a husband/father half of my meals are my son's leftovers, i have no problem with it being used for dinner
I've seen where if you put the parboiled potatoes into a container and shake them up it sort of roughs up the exteriors to where they get extra crispy on the outside. I follow a similar recipe but after cutting the potatoes into wedges, i just soak them in hot water for 10 minutes to release some starch and get the same effect. Oven fries are so awesome.
I’m gona try the hot water soak next time, thanks for the tip. We literally buy a sack of taters every grocery trip bc it’s a hearty staple item for cheap that we use a lot of different ways, at least one meal per day & we’re a family of four on one income, so anything cheap w the ability to fill stomachs is a win in my house! 🥴
I leave washed veggies in the fridge at their eye level, they "aren't supposed to be in the fridge". They eat everything they can find and isn't inside of a fridge lock box (big clear plastic box with a lock from Amazon).
What’s taters precious?? PO-TA-TO! 😂
My son loves fries, trying this!
Haha why so fucking hot??
I always just roast them without boiling and these look much better than mine made this way. You boil them first? I am sick so fresh squeezed orange juice and a can of disgusting ravioli in a can bc it was easy and I couldn’t handle cooking. I did eek out some Turkey taco meat on bagged salad kit last night for dinner. Lol Not up to cooking at the moment while hacking up all the lungs and dead tired. Stay healthy and stay away from toddler play zones. It’s crud season.
Hope you feel better. Wash and sanatize you and your kids hands after going out. My kids keep alternating who’s sick 😅
@ thanks. I don’t even have kids but when I did live with kids I got sick all the time. I have asthma so colds turn into bronchitis easily. I remember when fostering kids I got sick every time and also living with a friend’s kids I got sick often. Toddlers and babies’ immune systems are really not fully developed yet so they get everything or carry it but are young so their bodies process things hard and fast. For us grownups it’s a whole other story. And the fosters always arrived sick so even with all the hand washing, baths and wiping down toys, it was inevitable. Especially when they want you to pick them up and get right in your face with their face and hands that have been in their mouths etc. I also learned those seats in carts like at target where a lot of moms shop are germy as heck. I don’t really even think wiping them down helps a ton but it’s better than nothing. I now mostly order groceries for delivery and avoid the crud zones, especially after Covid days. Stay well yourself. :)
Oooooh lovely Hobbit music.
Raw carrots are super dangerous for choking. But the idea is great!!
I ate like a bag of bagels and the entire container of strawberry cream cheese alone in a few days. So obsessed, bagels texture is just so nice I can’t put it down 😭
Butterbeer is just an extension of my love for Butter Rum lifesavers as a kid. Love anything with that flavor 🧡
I'm a mascara-and-maybe-some- eyeshadow (usually just Urban Decay eyeshadow primer in Original Sin) kind of a person. Maybe tinted moisturizer. I'm about the same age and had children "late", too.
I got my two little boys to eat stuff by calling it "cowboy stew." Cowboy eggs, cowboy grub, etc. So fun.
My oldest loves the vacuum. Obsessed. We got him a toy one that actually picks things up when he was about 1.5, then graduated to a real stick vacuum when he was 2.5. Now he just uses our real one :D hardest part is keeping him from dumping out the canister for infinite vacuuming and so THE FUN NEVER ENDS! 😅
My mom used to cut up vegetables and put them aside and ‘forget’ about them and me and my sister would steal them 😭
That looks super cute on you!
♀…. Same. Same age-ish. Late in life kids. Same lotion. Same don’t fuk withs. I feel seen.
Okay you win everything, this is great 👏🏻
I got the dye free sprinkles from Trader Joe’s and there’s different shades, I sprinkle that on yogurt! Trying to eliminate dye
I’m around the same age, and I use the same products!
I just tell em that that's what they're eating and if they don't av it theyll die. You can't beat around the bush with that lot. They can take control if yer int careful.
Awesome mom!!!
yup! i always liked most things but was very specific about HOW i liked them. my aunt started giving me my carrots whole and at 21 you can still find me snacking on one randomly
I’m never going to have kids and I hate kids but I still watch these dumb ass videos 😭😭
awe, hate is such strong language. You were a kid once. But I get it, thanks for watching anyway!
@ I’m sorry looking back at my comment it was pretty mean like Jesus Christ 😭😭😭
@@iansmall6918 I didn't take it that way. TH-cam comments are sometimes vile, you're good but I appreciate it!
My son would NOT be happy 😂 he would in fact know that is not a donut
Jesus, those clumps of powder, not in my house😂
💜😎💜😎💜😎
Im sure, not everyone.....but most of you people are crazy. Kids being in control is a problem.
" No don't eat that broccoli stop it right now" The mental image.
Sounds exactly like hiding vegetables in their food because they need it and they won’t eat it
K Sarah, thanks so much for your input. Really appreciate it.
as someone who isnt nero typical i can confirm that feeling like a feral little goblin will give most children a fun reason to eat ANYTHING 😂
Bold move on the olives. As little kids we loved olives so I hope they also do. I have some zucchini and summer squash I might roast planks of and make lasagna with those as the noodles. I used to make it all the time and haven’t in ages. Sick this week but still need to eat so we will see. Salad sound doable for dinner tho for this bronchitis crap. Enjoy your dindin.
Pushing him forward onto a moving conveyor belt was actually crazy though.
